OGO Portable Composting Toilet for Camping, RV & Boat — NOMAD Non‑Electric Odour‑Minimizing

If you spend time off-grid in a campervan, truck camper, small boat, or rooftop tent, finding a clean, simple toilet system is a common challenge. The NOMAD is built to work without power or septic hookups by separating liquids from solids and using a disposable bag method for fast, hygienic cleanup. It’s designed to be rugged, lightweight, and easy to move so you can set it up anywhere your trip requires.

How does the NOMAD prevent smells without chemicals or electricity?

The NOMAD uses a proven urine-diverting separation to keep liquid and solid waste apart, which limits odor formation at the source. No fans, batteries, or chemical cartridges are needed—just proper use and a composting or absorbent medium for solids.

• Gravity-fed separation funnels urine away from solids
• Dry composting medium minimizes moisture and bacterial growth
• No chemical additives required—reduces ongoing supplies
• Tie-off bag system seals waste for transport and disposal

Is the NOMAD easy to use and clean during short trips?

Yes — the NOMAD is optimized for straightforward setup and minimal maintenance. Use widely available 8-gallon bags and a composting medium; when a bag is full, remove, seal, and replace. The simple design keeps turnaround fast between uses.

• Uses common 8-gallon bags—no proprietary liners
• Quick bag-change mechanism for fast campsite turnover
• Compact footprint fits tight spaces for convenience
• Durable surfaces wipe clean with standard cleaners

Will the NOMAD fit inside small campers, boats, or rooftop tents?

The NOMAD is intentionally compact and lightweight for confined spaces. Its slim profile and no-plumbing requirement make it ideal for truck beds, rental camper vans, small craft, and rooftop tents, where floor space is limited.

• Low-profile design for limited headroom and tight corners
• Easily carried and positioned by one person
• Stable base suited to mobile and slightly uneven floors
• Stores away quickly when not in use to save interior space

How durable is the NOMAD for repeated outdoor use?

Constructed with rugged materials and assembled in the USA, the NOMAD is made to withstand mud, dust, and rough handling common on weekends away. Routine upkeep is minimal: add dry medium, change bags, and rinse as needed.

• Rugged casing resists wear from outdoor conditions
• Low-maintenance design reduces long-term upkeep
• Replaceable consumables keep operating costs low
• Simple parts make field repairs or swaps straightforward

Who is this for: The OGO NOMAD is aimed at campers, overlanders, van dwellers, hunters, guides, boaters, and anyone who needs a portable, no-electric toilet option for short-term or seasonal use. It suits people who want an odor-reducing, low-maintenance system that fits tight spaces and eliminates reliance on dump stations or permanent plumbing.
