Old Dutch International bike handlebar grips Vans Lock-On V2.1 BLK/BLK — 31mm waffle pattern, soft compound for secure comfortable

Old Dutch International ODI Grip Vans Lock-On V2.1 in BLK/BLK is a 31mm waffle-pattern lock-on bicycle grip that combines a Vans-inspired outsole texture with a simplified V2.1 clamp system for secure, comfortable control.

These grips pair ODI's soft compound feel with the iconic Vans sole pattern, refreshed into a V2.1 Lock-On design that streamlines installation and improves hand contact. The 31 mm outer diameter balances cushioning and feedback, while the mini flange and textured end cap protect hands and maintain purchase on the bars. Available in coordinating checkered clamps, this BLK/BLK version keeps a stealth look that fits many bike styles.

How does the V2.1 lock-on system simplify installation and use?

The V2.1 clamp refines the lock-on mechanism to reduce fuss during fitting and give a more reliable hold under riding stresses. A single clamp design minimizes parts and tools required, helping you mount grips quickly and securely.

• Single-clamp design for faster mounting
• Reduced hardware for simpler alignment
• Reliable retention under torque and vibration

What comfort and control benefits does the waffle pattern provide?

The updated Vans-inspired waffle texture offers a familiar tread that improves palm traction and distributes pressure across the hand. That pattern helps riders maintain control in varied conditions without sacrificing comfort on longer rides.

• Textured waffle surface improves grip in dry and slightly damp conditions
• Even pressure distribution reduces hot spots during extended use
• Soft compound absorbs small impacts while preserving bar feel

What are the size and protective design features?

At 5.3 inches (135 mm) length and a 1.2 inch (31 mm) outer diameter, these grips suit riders wanting a balance of cushioning and precise control. A mini flange and rugged end outer cap protect hands and keep the grip stable against the bar ends.

• Length: 135 mm (5.3 in) for full-hand coverage
• Outer diameter: 31 mm for balanced comfort and control
• Mini flange shields hands from handlebar interference
• Reinforced end cap secures grip edge and resists wear

Why choose the BLK/BLK colorway and included clamp styling?

The black-on-black finish offers a low-profile aesthetic that suits many frames and cockpit setups while hiding dirt and wear. Each grip ships with a coordinating checkered clamp to echo the Vans look without overpowering the bike's overall style.

• BLK/BLK delivers a discreet, versatile appearance
• Included checkered clamp adds subtle branded detail
• Color and clamp allow easy matching to accessories and pedals

Who is this for: Riders who want a recognizable Vans-inspired grip feel with modern lock-on convenience — ideal for BMX, urban, and trail riders seeking a soft compound that maintains control. The ODI Grip Vans Lock-On V2.1 BLK/BLK is suited to cyclists who prefer a 31 mm diameter for reduced hand fatigue and a secure single-clamp setup for quick installation and dependable performance.
