OOYAYA Steering Wheel Lock – Red Adjustable up to 17in, Hardened Steel Anti-Theft Device

OOYAYA’s red adjustable steering wheel lock is a visible, heavy-duty anti-theft device that secures the wheel and seatbelt connectors, fitting most cars up to 17 inches for added theft deterrence.

Everyday parking and overnight storage expose vehicles to opportunistic theft. This OOYAYA steering wheel lock combines high-visibility color with hardened steel construction and a PVC-wrapped cable to both deter would-be thieves and physically block steering wheel movement. Its adjustable length and included keys make it a practical choice for drivers of cars, SUVs, trucks, vans, and utility vehicles who want a simple, portable layer of protection.

How does this steering wheel lock stop theft attempts?

The lock prevents turning of the steering wheel and can also secure seatbelt connectors, creating multiple obstacles for a thief. Bright red finish increases visibility to act as a passive deterrent while the thick steel components resist cutting and sawing.

• Dual-action design clamps around wheel and seatbelt hardware for immobilization.
• Hardened steel body resists forced entry tools and snapping attempts.
• High-visibility color discourages quick, opportunistic thefts.
• PVC-coated cable protects steering surfaces from scratches while adding tensile strength.

Will this fit my vehicle and how do I adjust it?

The lock extends to a maximum length of 17 inches and is designed to fit the majority of steering wheels and vehicle types, including trucks, SUVs, vans, ATVs and golf carts. Adjustment is straightforward: extend or retract the locking arm to achieve a snug, obstructive fit, then turn the key to secure.

• Maximum span: 17 inches, suits most common wheel diameters.
• Simple slide-and-lock mechanism allows quick size changes.
• Three keys included—use one and stow spares safely for emergencies.
• Compact, lightweight design stores easily when not in use.

What materials and construction make this lock durable?

OOYAYA engineered this device with reinforced steel components and a thickened cable wrapped in protective PVC to resist common attack methods while protecting your wheel’s finish. The combination of toughness and finish preservation keeps the product effective and vehicle-friendly.

• Top-grade steel body and locking mechanism for strength and durability.
• PVC-coated thick steel cable prevents abrasions and adds corrosion resistance.
• Precision lock cylinder works smoothly with the supplied keys.
• Bright powder-coated finish for visibility and weather resistance.

How do I maintain and store the steering wheel lock?

Minimal upkeep keeps the device functional: wipe it clean, occasionally apply a graphite lubricant to the key cylinder, and store it in a dry place when not installed. The included three keys reduce the risk of being stranded without access.

• Wipe down with a damp cloth to remove dirt and salt build-up.
• Graphite powder or silicone spray on the lock cylinder extends key life.
• Keep spare keys in separate, safe locations to avoid lockouts.
• Store the compact lock under a seat or in the trunk when not in use.

Who is this for: Drivers who want a clear, physical anti-theft barrier without complex installation—ideal for commuters, fleet vehicles, RV owners, golf cart operators, and anyone parking in public or unsecured areas. If you need a portable, visible deterrent that’s easy to use and built to resist common tampering methods, the OOYAYA red steering wheel lock offers a straightforward, durable solution.
