Oyviny 4-Way Coiled Trailer Extension Cable 5 ft Stretchable 4-Pin Male/Female, 18AWG PU Jacket

The Oyviny 4-way coiled trailer extension is a 5-foot, 4-pin male/female wiring harness built for easy plug-and-play trailer lighting extensions with a durable PU jacket and dust-cover protection.

When you need extra wiring length for towing without loose cables dragging behind, this stretchable coiled extension gives you flexible reach and dependable conductivity. Designed for standard 4-way trailer connectors, the harness uses 18 AWG copper conductors with a tin-plated brass terminal and a high-temperature resistant PU sheath to resist wear and weather.

How does the coiled design help when towing?

The coil stores extra cable length compactly so it won't trail on the road or snag on obstacles while still stretching for tight turns. The memory of the coil returns the cable to its compact form after use, keeping the connection tidy and safer.

• Stretchable up to the designed 5-foot coil length for turning clearance
• Compact when relaxed to prevent dragging on pavement
• Flexible PU sheath resists cracking in bends and repeated stretching

Will this work with my trailer’s 4-way system?

This extension is made for standard 4-pin trailer lighting systems and works with most boat, horse, utility, and cargo trailers that use a 4-way connector. It ships with matching male and female plugs so you simply plug it between the vehicle and trailer—no cutting or splicing required.

• Standard 4-pin male and female connectors for universal compatibility
• Simple plug-and-play installation—no tools or wire splicing needed
• Tabs on the connector shells give better grip when plugging/unplugging

How durable and weatherproof is the wiring?

The wiring uses 18 AWG pure copper conductors and tin-plated brass terminals for reliable electrical contact. A high-temperature, wear-resistant PU outer sheath and a rubber dust cover on the female connector help protect the connection from moisture, dirt, and abrasion in outdoor towing conditions.

• 18 AWG fully jacketed wires for good conductivity and mechanical protection
• PUR/PU outer jacket resists heat, oil, and scuffs better than bare PVC
• Rubber dust cap shields the female plug when disconnected to reduce corrosion

How long is the cable when stretched and what should I expect?

The coil is designed to measure 5 feet (60 inches) stretched to its full length, but typical working length under normal towing tension will be closer to about 40 inches. Confirm the reach you need before ordering so the extension meets your vehicle-trailer spacing and turning radius.

• Designed full stretch length: 5 feet / 60 inches
• Typical working/operational length: around 40 inches during regular towing
• Coiled form reduces slack while still allowing required movement for turns

Who is this for: The Oyviny 4-way coiled extension is ideal for vehicle owners who tow trailers and want a tidy, durable wiring solution—boat owners, equestrians, landscapers, and anyone with a cargo or utility trailer that uses a 4-pin connector. It’s best if you need a compact cable that stretches for turns, offers solid electrical contacts, and keeps the connector protected when not in use.
