Performance Tool 2-in-1 Oil Drain Pan and Hex Tool Caddy — 8L Low-Profile with Locking Casters

The Performance Tool W4074 combines an 8-liter oil drain pan with a hexagon mobile tool caddy so you can catch fluids and keep essential tools at hand in one compact unit.

If you work on cars, motorcycles, or small engines, swapping back and forth between a drain pan and a tool tray wastes time and risks spills. The W4074 is designed to solve both problems: a low-profile 8-liter pan with a splash guard and oil filter drain post that nests with a durable, hex-shaped caddy mounted on three locking swivel casters. It’s injection-molded from high-impact polypropylene, so it stays lightweight for carrying while resisting dents, chemicals, and garage wear.

How does this 2-in-1 design speed up routine oil changes?

The integrated system lets you position the drain pan under the vehicle and keep tools within arm’s reach in the caddy above it. When the drain is complete, the pan can be moved on the casters without needing to transfer oil to another container.

• 8-liter capacity catches most passenger-vehicle oil changes.
• Splash guard reduces messy drips during removal.
• Oil filter drain post provides a controlled outlet for residual filter oil.
• Move the filled pan safely using three 2-inch locking swivel casters.

What makes the caddy durable and practical for workshop use?

Built from high-impact polypropylene, the caddy resists cracking, staining, and many common workshop chemicals. Its hexagon shape and dimensions give it enough storage without taking up excessive floor space.

• Hexagon layout organizes sockets, ratchets, and hand tools efficiently.
• 18-1/2" wide and 5-3/8" tall — fits under workbenches and near wheels.
• Lightweight construction simplifies repositioning for different jobs.
• Easy-to-clean surface wipes free of grease and grime.

Can I rely on the wheels to stay put while I work?

Yes. The W4074 uses three 2-inch swivel casters that lock to prevent movement, keeping both the pan and caddy stable during tool access and fluid collection. The caster layout also provides low center-of-gravity support while rolling.

• Three-point caster setup minimizes wobble on uneven floors.
• Each caster includes a locking mechanism for secure placement.
• 2-inch diameter wheels balance mobility and load capacity.
• Roll and lock to move a filled pan without lifting.

Who is this for?

The Performance Tool W4074 is ideal for DIYers, independent mechanics, and small shop owners who need a reliable, space-saving solution for fluid changes and mobile tool storage. If you want to reduce trips between your toolbox and the vehicle, avoid transferring oil between containers, and work from a compact, durable platform, this 2-in-1 pan and caddy is designed to make those tasks faster and cleaner. It’s particularly useful in tight garages, home workshops, and mobile repair setups where mobility, spill control, and organized access to hand tools matter.

Note: Always follow local regulations for used oil disposal. Avoid contact with hot engine components and allow oil to cool before draining.
