PHILTOP 16x8-7 ATV/UTV Turf Tyres — 2-Pack 4PR, Directional Tread for Mud, Sand & Grass

PHILTOP 16x8-7 all-terrain turf tires are a 4-ply, aggressive directional tire set (2 tires) built to deliver traction on turf, sand, mud and hard-packed ground for ATVs, UTVs, lawn tractors and golf carts.

These 16x8-7 tires combine a wide, open tread with a 4-ply rubber construction to balance grip, durability and turf-friendliness. With a 16 inch overall diameter, 8 inch width and 7 inch rim fitment, they replace common small off-road and utility tires used on lawn mowers, golf carts and compact ATVs. The design emphasizes self-cleaning lugs and a speed rating of F for reliable, low-speed work and recreational use.

How do these tires perform on soft or muddy ground?

The directional, wide-open tread channels mud and loose material away from the contact patch so the tire keeps biting instead of packing up. That self-cleaning effect improves forward traction and reduces wheel spin in soft conditions without overly disrupting turf.

• Directional lug pattern designed for mud shedding
• 10 mm tread depth for sustained bite
• Wide 8 in section spreads load to limit sinking
• Self-cleaning voids to maintain traction

Will these tires work on turf, sand and hard-packed trails?

Yes — the tread and compound are balanced to handle a range of surfaces from grass to sandy beaches and packed dirt. They maintain a stable footprint on hard-pack while providing float on softer terrain, making them versatile for mixed-use properties and trail riding.

• Engineered for turf, sand, loose loam, and hard-packed surfaces
• Moderate aspect ratio (58) for balanced contact patch
• 14 PSI recommended for optimized float and traction
• Section width 198 mm distributes weight for turf protection

How durable are these 4-ply rated PHILTOP tires?

The 4 ply rating and sturdy rubber construction resist common punctures and abrasions found in off-road environments. While not intended for heavy commercial hauling, they offer dependable durability for recreational and light utility use.

• 4-ply rated carcass for puncture and abrasion resistance
• Robust sidewall geometry to withstand impacts
• Max load-index 114 (per tire) for typical utility loads
• Speed rating F suited for slow-to-moderate operating speeds

What mounting and fitment details should I check before buying?

Confirm the tire's key dimensions and rim compatibility before purchase to avoid fitment issues. These tires are sized for a 7 inch rim with a recommended rim width of 5.5 inches; rims are not included in the set.

• Tire size: 16x8-7 — overall diameter 16 in, width 8 in
• Rim diameter: 7 in; recommended rim width: 5.5 in
• Section width: 198 mm; aspect ratio: 58
• Recommended inflation: 14 PSI; check vehicle load requirements
