Piaa Super Silicone Wiper Blade 22" (550mm) Pack of 1 — UV‑resistant, Hydrophobic Coating for Clearer Visibility

PIAA 95055 Super Silicone Wiper Blade is a 22" (550mm) single-pack silicone wiper that resists UV and weathering while coating your windshield with a water-repellent film.

This PIAA blade uses a specialized silicone compound and an activated silicone coating to deliver longer service life and instantaneous water beading. The low-profile frame is aerodynamically shaped, zinc-plated and powder-coated to resist corrosion and to keep even pressure across the glass for quiet, streak-free performance at highway speeds. It’s a vehicle-specific fit made to replace one standard 22" wiper blade.

How does this wiper improve visibility in rain and light spray?

The silicone rubbing edge leaves a thin hydrophobic layer on the glass with every pass, so water beads and slides off between wipes. That action reduces smear and helps maintain clearer sightlines during intermittent rain.

• Activated silicone coating disperses moisture into beads for easier runoff.
• Instant water beading improves visibility even when wipers are idle.
• Consistent pressure across the blade reduces streaks and smears.

Will this blade last longer than conventional rubber wipers?

Yes — the silicone compound resists degradation from sunlight and ozone, which are common causes of traditional rubber failure. PIAA rates these silicone blades to last up to twice as long as many premium rubber alternatives under similar conditions.

• Patented silicone formulation resists UV cracking and drying out.
• Durable edge keeps wiping performance consistent over time.
• Corrosion-protected metal frame helps maintain balance and pressure.

How does the frame design affect performance at speed?

The frame’s aerodynamic profile minimizes lift and wind flutter, helping the blade remain flush with the windshield at highway speeds. Balanced pressure points along the frame keep the rubber fully engaged with the glass for quiet, continuous wiping.

• Streamlined frame reduces wind lift and noise at higher speeds.
• Zinc-plated then powder-coated finish prevents rust and pitting.
• Evenly distributed contact points improve blade wear and wipe quality.

Is this an easy swap for a 22" wiper replacement?

PIAA designs the 95055 as a vehicle-specific replacement, so installation follows standard wiper-arm attachment methods. Most drivers can change a single blade in minutes using the included adapter geometry common to modern wiper arms.

• 22" (550mm) length matches many OEM replacement sizes.
• Designed for typical hook/arm attachments used on most vehicles.
• Pack of 1 — replace the companion side as needed for matched performance.

Who is this for: drivers who want a longer-lasting, low-maintenance wiper that improves wet-weather visibility. The PIAA 95055 suits people living in sunny, rainy, or coastal climates where UV and corrosion shorten standard wiper life, and for anyone who prefers quieter, streak-free wiping without frequent rubber treatments.
