Podoy 7/8" RV Vinyl Insert Trim 100ft Black — UV-Resistant Screw Cover with 12 Screws

Podoy 7/8" black vinyl RV insert trim is a 100-foot heavy-duty molding that covers screw heads and seals roof and side edges to protect campers and trailers from moisture and wear.

This continuous 100-foot roll of 7/8" black vinyl insert trim comes with 12 screws and is engineered to provide a long-lasting exterior finish for RVs, travel trailers, campers and other outdoor surfaces. Constructed from thick, UV-resistant vinyl, it resists cracking, fading and peeling while fitting into existing channels to cover fasteners and close small gaps. It’s a practical option when you want a neat, watertight edge without relying on adhesives.

How does this trim protect my RV from leaks and rust?

The vinyl insert forms a barrier that helps keep water out of seams and prevents screw heads from corroding. By covering exposed fasteners and sealing vulnerable edges, it reduces moisture intrusion, which in turn lowers the risk of rust and water damage in the long run.

• Seals roof edges and sidewall seams to limit water entry
• Covers screw heads to reduce exposure to elements
• Thick, UV-stable vinyl resists cracking and deterioration

Is this easy to install on trailers, gutters, and corners?

Yes — the flexible vinyl bends for corners and easily slides into many existing channels, eliminating the need for glue. Installation generally requires removing the old trim, cutting this roll to length, inserting the new piece, and fastening where needed with screws.

• Cut-to-fit 100-foot roll makes long runs continuous
• Pliable material conforms to curved and angled profiles
• Includes 12 screws for securing trim where necessary

What surfaces and projects is this trim suitable for?

This insert works across a range of exterior applications: roof edges, rain gutters, corner molding, door panels and rocker panels. It’s also useful for marine use, light home improvement tasks, and places where a neat, protective edge is desired.

• Designed for campers, travel trailers, and RV sidewalls
• Adapts to boats, gutter edges, and countertop or table edges
• Helpful for DIY exterior repairs and weatherproofing projects

How durable is the Podoy vinyl trim in outdoor conditions?

The product is made from a dense, weather-resistant vinyl formulated to stand up to sun, rain and temperature swings. It’s intended to maintain flexibility and appearance over time, reducing the need for frequent replacement or touch-ups.

• UV-resistant compound limits fading from sunlight
• Resists cracking, peeling and brittle failure in cold or heat
• Designed for continuous runs to minimize joints and leaks
