Prime 1 Extra-Large RV Step 19 x 14.5in Platform — 600 lb Capacity, Height-Adjustable Aluminium with Anti-Slip Surface

Prime 1's extra-large folding RV step provides a stable, anti-slip platform (19" x 14.5") with 600 lb capacity and adjustable height for safer entry and exit.

Getting in and out of an RV, van, or high-sided vehicle should be simple and secure. This Prime 1 Safety step is built from lightweight aluminum with a wide standing surface, reflective side tape, and a non-slip top so you can step confidently in low light, uneven ground, or when carrying cargo. It folds flat for storage, locks open for use, and adjusts to four heights to match varying thresholds and terrain.

How does this step improve stability when entering an RV?

The step’s broad platform gives you more room to place your foot and change position, reducing missteps. Its aluminum frame resists bending under heavy use, and the feet include reinforced non-slip grips to prevent sliding on asphalt, dirt, or wet surfaces.

• Extra-large 19" x 14.5" standing surface for safer footing
• 600 lb maximum load rating for heavy-duty reliability
• Reinforced non-slip foot pads to reduce lateral movement
• Anti-slip grip tape on top for added traction even when wet

Can the height be adjusted for uneven ground or varying vehicle heights?

Yes — the step features a four-position adjustable height range from 7-5/8" to 9" so you can match the riser to your doorway or compensate for sloped ground. Adjustments lock securely in place to maintain a solid surface when weight is applied.

• Four height settings for small to moderate level differences
• Positive locking mechanism to prevent unexpected collapse
• Suitable for uneven surfaces like beach, desert, or soft ground
• Lightweight aluminum makes repositioning easy

What features help with visibility and handling at night?

The step includes reflective tape along the sides to make the platform visible in low-light conditions, reducing trip hazards when campsite lighting is limited. A built-in carrying handle and compact folding design make it easy to move and stow without awkward lifting.

• Reflective side stripe for nighttime visibility
• Top grip tape to maintain traction even in dim light
• Integrated handle for convenient transport and placement
• Quick fold-and-lock action for compact storage under seats or in compartments

Is this step appropriate for vehicles and outdoor use?

This step is designed specifically for RVs, travel trailers, tall SUVs, and vans, and also works well on boats, campsites, and other outdoor settings. The aluminum construction resists corrosion from occasional exposure to the elements while the feet and grip tape provide a secure contact point on many surfaces.

• Recommended for RVs, trailers, high-clearance SUVs and vans
• Durable aluminum resists deformation and light corrosion
• Feet optimized for contact on pavement, dirt, and packed sand
• Compact footprint and folding design for tight storage spots

Who is this for: Owners of motorhomes, towable trailers, tall SUVs, vans, and boats who need a reliable, wide step for safer entry and exit. It also suits travelers who often set up on uneven ground or in low-light conditions and want a portable, heavy-duty step with easy storage and transport.
