The Prokomon 11-piece Noid Light Test Kit is a compact diagnostic set that lets you verify whether fuel injectors and related injector circuits are receiving pulsed signals from the vehicle’s engine control electronic unit.
When an engine shows misfires, poor idle, or hard starts, the electrical pulse that tells each fuel injector when to open is a common culprit. The Prokomon kit provides multiple noid adapters, a bright test light, and a long harness so you can plug directly into injector connectors and watch for the correct pulsed pattern while cranking or running the engine. It’s built to accommodate a wide range of domestic and import electrical terminal types so you can diagnose signal faults quickly without guessing.
Use the noid light to replace an injector connector and observe whether it flashes. A pulsing light indicates the ECU is commanding the injector; a steady light or no illumination suggests an electrical fault upstream. This isolates the issue to wiring, connectors, or the control module rather than the injector’s mechanical fuel delivery.
The set includes a variety of adapter shapes and pin layouts designed to match many common injector and IAC connectors found on older and newer vehicles. It lists compatibility with multiple GM, Ford, Bosch, and other injector styles so you can adapt quickly without cutting wiring or improvising connectors.
Prokomon designed the harness with a long extension so you can stay in the driver’s seat while watching the test light during cranking or running conditions. The light itself is bright and designed to respond to pulse frequency, giving a clear visual cue to the presence and quality of the injector signal.
A flashing light means the injector circuit is receiving a pulsed command; a steady glow or no light points to a wiring short, open, ground issue, or lack of ECU output. Record the behavior across multiple cylinders to look for patterns — single-cylinder faults often indicate wiring/connectors, while multiple cylinders may implicate the control module or fuse/relay circuits.
Who is this for: The Prokomon 11-piece Noid Light Test Kit is intended for DIY mechanics, independent shops, and fleet technicians who need a fast, low-cost way to verify injector and IAC electrical signals. It’s especially useful for troubleshooting intermittent misfires or electrical faults on a wide range of vehicles where matching connector types is essential.
Q: Can I use this kit on modern fuel-injected cars?
A: Yes — the kit includes multiple adapter shapes covering many modern and older injector connectors, but verify physical pin layout before use.
Q: What does a flashing noid light mean?
A: A flashing light indicates the ECU/PCM is sending pulsed signals to the injector, showing the electrical side is functioning.
