PTAZSCTC Lamb Fleece Polishing Pads 8-Pack 9–10 inch Bonnet Buffing Pads — Soft Reusable, Low-Abrasion Finish

PTAZSCTC 8 Pcs lamb fleece polishing pads are soft, reusable 9–10 inch bonnet buffing pads engineered to deliver smooth, low-abrasion finishes on paint, metal, wood, and glass.

These eight white woollen fleece pads fit most 9–10 inch car polishers and are designed to blend, polish, and finish a wide range of surfaces without leaving lint or streaks. Made from refined lambswool, they balance plush softness with resilience so you can work quickly while protecting delicate surfaces. The integrated elastic band ensures a snug, slip-resistant fit on standard backing plates, and the pads are machine-washable for multiple uses.

How do these pads protect painted surfaces during polishing?

The lamb fleece construction offers a soft contact layer that reduces micro-scratches and swirl marks compared with stiffer pads. Their dense but forgiving pile distributes polish evenly, lowering hotspots and preventing overworking of paint.

• Refined lambswool reduces abrasion while smoothing compounds are spread evenly
• Plush pile minimizes swirl marks on clear coats and delicate finishes
• Elastic band keeps the pad flat to avoid edge-curling and paint damage

Will these work on non-automotive surfaces like metal, wood, or glass?

Yes — the pads are formulated to be versatile across many materials, from polished metals and wood furniture to camera bodies and glass. Use lighter pressure and appropriate compounds for each material to achieve the best finish without damaging the substrate.

• Suitable for metal descaling and fine polishing when paired with proper polish
• Works on wood finishes for gentle buffing and sheen enhancement
• Can refine glass edges or restore small optical surfaces with care

How do I fit and care for the 9–10 inch bonnet buffing pads?

The pads feature an elasticized perimeter that stretches over most 9–10 inch backing plates and secures during high-speed buffing. After use, rinse lightly to remove compound, then machine-wash on a gentle cycle; reshape and air-dry to retain loft and performance.

• Elastic band enables quick, tool-free attachment to standard backing plates
• Machine-washable and reusable — reduces replacement frequency
• Air-dry and reshape to restore pile and prevent deformation

What polishing results can I expect with these bonnet buffing pads?

Used with suitable compounds, the lamb fleece pads produce smooth, glossy surfaces and help lock in wax coatings for a consistent sheen. They’re engineered to aid in scratch refinement, light oxidation removal, and final-stage finishing rather than aggressive cutting.

• Delivers a gloss-enhancing finish on hoods, panels, and trim
• Effective for removing light blemishes and evening out polish layers
• Helps distribute wax for improved protection against elements
