puruoda LED Underhood Light Kit White — Direct-Fit Replacement for GM Vehicles (PN 12450086)

puruoda white full LED underhood light kit is a direct-fit replacement under-hood lamp designed to deliver brighter, energy-efficient illumination for compatible GM vehicles.

This LED underhood light assembly (part number 12450086) replaces original equipment lighting on select Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac and Buick models, offering longer-lasting performance and lower power draw than older incandescent bulbs. It ships as a single underhood light assembly engineered for straightforward installation, sturdy operation, and consistent lighting where you need it most under the hood. Before ordering, verify your vehicle’s OE part number and compare the photos to ensure an exact match.

How does the puruoda kit improve underhood visibility?

The LED array produces a clear, white beam that spreads across the engine bay to help you see components, fasteners, and fluid reservoirs more easily than dim stock bulbs. LEDs maintain steady output at lower current, reducing flicker and hotspots common to aged incandescent lamps.

• Bright white LED color for accurate component visibility
• Even light dispersion to reduce shadows inside the engine compartment
• Lower heat and steady output compared with traditional bulbs

Will this fit my vehicle and how do I confirm compatibility?

This assembly is built to match OE fitment for the listed models: Chevy Silverado 1500/2500/3500, Suburban, Express, Tahoe, Cadillac Escalade (2002–2004) and Buick Regal (1997–1999). Always check the original equipment part number—12450086—and visually compare the product photos with your existing unit before purchase to ensure a correct match.

• OEM part number: 12450086 for compatibility checks
• Fits multiple GM models across model years specified
• Compare images and mounting points to your current lamp

How easy is the installation and what should I expect?

Installation is intended to be straightforward: remove the old lamp assembly, disconnect the wiring plug, and install the new puruoda unit using the existing mounting points. The kit arrives fully assembled and factory-tested, so no additional wiring or modification is typically required for directly compatible vehicles.

• Plug-and-play replacement for matching OE setups
• No extra wiring or adapters usually needed
• Factory-tested for reliability out of the box

What are the durability and performance features of this LED assembly?

Designed with LED technology, the lamp consumes less electrical power and runs cooler than incandescent alternatives, which helps preserve battery life and reduces frequent bulb replacements. The housing and components are built for durability and stability under normal underhood conditions.

• LEDs provide longer service life versus traditional bulbs
• Stable operation with lower electrical draw
• Rugged construction suitable for engine-bay use
