RecPro's black RV exterior shower faucet is a compact, high-pressure outdoor sprayer built from solid brass and metal components to rinse gear, fill buckets, and connect to standard garden hoses on your RV.

This exterior faucet is engineered for mobile use: compact dimensions, ½" thread hookups, dual 2" shanks for hot and cold water, and a sturdy quick-connect valve that accepts a standard garden hose. Finished in matte black, it blends with modern RV exteriors while offering the pressure and durability needed for outdoor kitchens, gear rinsing, or campsite cleanup. Follow recommended winter drain procedures to protect the unit from freeze damage and extend service life.

How does this faucet handle outdoor rinsing and campsite tasks?

The faucet delivers a concentrated, high-pressure spray suitable for rinsing muddy boots, cleaning camping gear, and washing dishes at an outdoor kitchen station. Its quick-connect valve allows fast hose attachment so you can switch between tasks without tools.

• Compact 6 1/4" × 2 1/8" × 5 1/4" footprint for tight exterior panels.
• High-pressure sprayer design clears dirt and sand efficiently.
• Quick-connect accepts standard garden hose for versatile use.

Can I attach a garden hose or use hot and cold water?

Yes. The top quick-connect adapter is made of solid brass and metal, enabling secure attachment of a standard garden hose. The unit features ½" threaded hookups and two 2" shanks so you can plumb both hot and cold water lines if desired.

• Solid brass quick-connect valve for garden-hose compatibility.
• ½" threads and two 2" shanks for hot and cold hookups.
• Works as a transition piece between hose and RV water system.

What are the installation and maintenance considerations?

Installation requires cutting an appropriate opening in the RV exterior and connecting the two 2" shanks to your existing water lines using the ½" threads. Routine maintenance is minimal, but draining the faucet and connected lines before freezing temperatures is essential to prevent cracks or leaks.

• Mounting fits compact exterior panels common on RVs and outdoor kitchens.
• Use proper seals and thread tape when connecting water lines.
• Drain and winterize to avoid freeze-related damage.

How durable is the RecPro exterior faucet for regular RV use?

Durability is a primary design focus: the quick-connect valve is made from solid metal and the transition fitting is brass, providing corrosion resistance and reliable mechanical strength. With proper installation and winter care, the unit is built to withstand repeated outdoor use.

• Solid metal quick-connect valve for long-term reliability.
• Brass transition fitting resists corrosion and wear.
• Compact form reduces exposure to impact when mounted flush.
