Rhino USA Tree Saver Tow Strap — 3 in x 8 ft Winch Extension, 31,518 lb Rated, Tree-Protecting Polyester

Rhino USA's 3 in x 8 ft Tree Saver is a heavy-duty winch extension strap that protects trees while providing a 31,518 lb-rated recovery connection for self-rescue and vehicle towing.

Built for off-roaders and recovery professionals, this polyester static strap extends a winch line to a safe anchor point while keeping bark and cambium intact. The strap is made in the USA by a family-owned company and combines weather resistance, reinforced loop ends, and a lifetime replacement policy to deliver a reliable, long-lasting recovery accessory.

How does this strap protect trees during a winch recovery?

The wide 3-inch polyester webbing spreads load over a larger surface area, greatly reducing pressure and abrasion on the trunk compared with thin lines or chains. You wrap it around the trunk or limb and attach the winch hook to the reinforced loop to pull without cutting into bark.

• 3-inch width disperses force to prevent girdling.
• Durable polyester resists weather and wear while remaining soft against bark.
• Triple-reinforced ends keep connection points secure under load.
• 8-foot length gives clearance so recovery rigging avoids damaged bark.

Can I use this as a winch extension and what is its rated capacity?

Yes — the strap doubles as a winch extension when you need extra reach to reach a solid anchor like a tree or stump. It carries a tested working capacity of 31,518 pounds, suitable for most vehicle recoveries when used with proper rigging and snatch blocks.

• 31,518 lb rating for static pull scenarios.
• Works as a winch extension to reach distant anchor points.
• Designed for static loads; follow safe recovery practices for dynamic pulls.
• Pair with appropriate shackles and hardware rated for equal or greater capacity.

What makes this strap durable and easy to use in the field?

The strap is fabricated from heavy-duty polyester that sheds water and resists UV degradation, plus triple-reinforced sewn loops at each end for abrasion resistance and long service life. Its flexible webbing lies flat for quick wrapping and unwrapping during recoveries and packs down small in recovery kits.

• Weather-resistant polyester for extended outdoor use.
• Triple-stitched loop ends protect against tear and abrasion.
• Lightweight and flexible for fast deployment and compact storage.
• Simple wrap-and-attach design, no special tools required.

Who is this for? Off-road enthusiasts, professional recovery crews, hunters, and anyone who needs a dependable winch extension that also protects natural anchors will value this strap. It’s aimed at users who prioritize equipment longevity, responsible recovery techniques, and American-made manufacturing backed by a lifetime replacement policy. If you frequently rig winches in wooded or remote environments, this Rhino USA Tree Saver is a practical addition to your recovery kit.
