Rock Tamers 2" Hitch Receiver Mudflap System — Adjustable No-Drill Trailer Splash Guard, 66–97" Coverage

Rock Tamers 00108 is an adjustable, no-drill mudflap system that mounts to a standard 2" hitch receiver to protect trailers and vehicles from road spray and debris.

Designed and manufactured by a Colorado-based family company with over 25 years of experience, the Rock Tamers 00108 combines heavy-duty materials with easy installation to deliver reliable splash and road-damage protection. The kit expands to cover a wide range of vehicle and trailer widths, secures to most 2" ball mounts and receiver hitches, and requires only minimal space on the ball mount shank for the center hub.

How does the 00108 attach to a 2" hitch without drilling?

The system uses a center hub that slips over the ball mount shank and clamps to the hitch hardware, eliminating the need to alter your vehicle. Installation requires only the existing hitch and the hardware included with the kit, so you can fit or remove the mudflap system quickly.

• Secures to most 2" ball mounts and receiver hitches
• Center hub needs just 1" of free shank space on the ball mount
• No drilling or permanent modifications to the vehicle
• Simple clamp and bolt assembly for tool-friendly installation

What width coverage does the mudflap system provide?

The 00108 is adjustable across a broad range so it fits compact trailers and wider rigs alike. Overall width expands from about 66.75 inches up to roughly 97 inches, letting you tailor the coverage to your vehicle or trailer track width.

• Minimum overall width: 66.75 inches
• Maximum overall width: 97 inches
• Hub length range: 67-¼ inches to 96-¾ inches for fine-tuned fit
• Modular panels allow even coverage across different widths

What materials and durability features should I expect?

Rock Tamers builds each system for long-term use under roadside conditions, combining rugged hardware with weather-resistant flap panels. The construction focuses on resisting corrosion and withstanding repeated exposure to water, salt, and gravel without compromising fit or function.

• Durable hardware suited for repeated installation and removal
• Weather-resistant flap materials that shed water and debris
• Precision components to prevent sagging and keep flaps aligned
• Craftsmanship backed by a family-owned Colorado manufacturer with 25+ years' experience

How simple is setup and daily use?

Setup is intentionally straightforward so you can install or remove the system as needed. Once clamped to the hitch, the panels hang and function without additional adjustments during normal driving, and the low-profile hub minimizes interference with towing operations.

• Quick clamp installation — no special tools beyond common wrenches
• Low-profile center hub that stays out of the way of most towing gear
• Easy removal for storage or when not towing
• Minimal maintenance: rinse and inspect for fasteners seasonally

Who this is for: the Rock Tamers 00108 is aimed at drivers and fleet operators who want broad, adjustable protection from splash and road spray without modifying their vehicle. It's a good fit for trailer owners, RV users, work trucks, and anyone who tows regularly and needs a robust, removable mudflap solution that mounts to a standard 2" hitch receiver.
