Rorex Cherokee XJ Windscreen Sunshade — Custom-Fit for 1984–2001, Reflective UV Protection

Rorex Cherokee XJ Windshield Sunshade is a custom-fit, collapsible sun shield made to protect the interior of every Jeep Cherokee XJ from 1984 through 2001.

If you own a classic Cherokee XJ, this sunshade is shaped to match the windshield curve and mounting points of each model year between 1984 and 2001. Built from durable reflective material and supplied with a storage pouch, the sunshade folds down for compact storage and installs in seconds. It reduces cabin heat buildup, protects trim and upholstery from UV exposure, and signals parked presence with a clean, tailored look.

How does this sunshade fit different Cherokee XJ years?

The Rorex sunshade is manufactured to the exact windshield dimensions and contours common to Jeep Cherokee XJ models from 1984–2001. That custom cutting ensures edges align with the dash and A-pillars for a snug appearance and minimal light seepage. One-piece construction avoids gaps that generic shades often leave.

• Tailored pattern matched to XJ windshield curvature
• Precise width and height for each year’s glass profile
• One-piece design for complete windshield coverage

What materials and features make it durable and easy to use?

Rorex uses reflective, heat-resistant fabric layered over a flexible frame that collapses into a compact disc. The shade resists tearing and will maintain its shape through repeated folding. A zippered storage pouch is included to keep the shade protected between uses.

• Reflective outer surface reduces solar heat transfer
• Flexible inner frame for quick folding and unfolding
• Durable seams and stitching for repeated use
• Included storage pouch for neat stowage

How much sun and UV protection can I expect in everyday use?

While no accessory can completely block all solar energy, this sunshade significantly lowers direct sunlight and UV exposure to the dashboard, seats, and electronics. By reflecting sunlight away, it helps slow fading, keep plastic and vinyl cooler, and reduce the cabin temperature after parking. Results vary by climate and parking conditions.

• Reflective surface redirects sunlight away from the interior
• Helps reduce dashboard and upholstery fading from UV rays
• Can lower initial cabin temperature when parked in sun

How does the shade store and what accessories are included?

The collapsible frame compresses into a flat circular bundle that slips into the supplied pouch for compact storage in the cargo area or under a seat. The pouch helps prevent dirt and creasing while the shade is not in use. No additional mounting hardware is required — it simply tucks against the glass and can be secured with the sun visors.

• Collapses into a compact disc for storage
• Zippered pouch included to protect the shade
• Installs without tools; uses visors or dashboard contact to hold position

This Rorex Cherokee XJ windshield sunshade is ideal for owners who value a precise fit, convenient daily use, and protection for their vehicle’s interior. It’s especially useful for classic XJ owners preserving interior trim, drivers in sunny climates who want cooler cabins, and anyone who prefers a neat, factory-like appearance when parked. The custom sizing for 1984–2001 XJ models makes it a straightforward upgrade for aftermarket comfort and preservation without altering the vehicle.
