runfider RV vent insulator 14x14x3 2-pack, reflective foam skylight covers for 14-inch vents

runfider 2PCS 14" x 14" x 3" RV vent insulators are reflective, foam-filled skylight covers designed to block heat, reduce drafts, and improve temperature control for standard 14" x 14" RV vents.

These two-piece vent inserts combine a reflective outer coating with high-density memory foam to create a removable, washable barrier for camper and motorhome roofs. They slide directly into most 14-inch square sky vents and rely on 3" thickness to limit heat transfer in summer and reduce heat loss in winter. Built for simple installation and compact storage, the set is intended to be a practical, low-effort way to improve comfort and reduce HVAC usage while you travel or park.

How does this vent insulator reduce heat in summer?

The reflective surface sends a portion of incoming solar radiation back out, while the foam core slows heat conduction into the vehicle. Together they lower the amount of heat that reaches the interior ceiling and living space.

• Reflective coating positioned outward to bounce sunlight away
• 3-inch high-density memory foam limits conductive heat transfer
• Fits snugly in standard 14" x 14" skylights to minimize air gaps

Will it help keep warmth inside during cold weather?

Yes. The same 3" foam thickness that blocks summer heat also functions as insulation in cooler conditions, reducing warm-air escape through vents. This creates a more stable interior temperature without continuous heating.

• Thick foam core reduces convective heat loss
• Close fit around vent perimeter prevents drafts
• Reflective side can face inward if preferred for additional radiant retention

How easy is installation, removal, and cleaning?

Installation is tool-free: compressible memory foam allows the insert to be pushed into most 14" x 14" openings and held in place by the skylight frame. A zippered cover enables quick removal for hand or machine washing, and the lightweight design makes handling straightforward for one person.

• Push-in fit for most standard 14" x 14" vents and skylights
• Zippered cover detaches for machine or hand washing
• High-fluff memory foam resists deformation for repeated use

How compact is storage and will it fit different RV models?

The pair packs down easily because the foam is compressible and the covers are soft; when not in use they tuck into narrow compartments or storage bags. The 14" x 14" footprint matches common industry-standard vents, making them compatible with a wide range of campers and motorhomes.

• Compressible foam for space-saving storage
• Standard 14" x 14" sizing fits most RV vents and skylights
• Lightweight for carrying between storage and installation points

Who is this for? These vent insulators suit RV owners, vanlifers, and occasional campers who want a simple, removable way to reduce interior temperature swings and improve energy efficiency without permanent modifications. They're also helpful for people who need washable covers, easy one-person installation, and a universal fit for common 14" x 14" skylights. If you prioritize compact storage, seasonal temperature control, and a non-invasive solution for vents, this runfider two-piece set is designed to meet those needs.
