RVGUARD RV Skylight Bundle — 14x22" Inner Dome + 18x26" Smoke Outer, UV Protection & Impact-Resistant

RVGUARD’s skylight bundle combines a 14"x22" clear inner dome with an 18"x26" smoke outer cover to give RV owners bright interior light, strong UV protection, and a durable, easy-to-install replacement.

If you're replacing an old skylight or upgrading for more privacy and sun control, this RVGUARD bundle pairs a high-transmission inner dome with a tinted outer cap engineered to fit standard 14"x22" roof openings. Built from impact-resistant materials and supplied with mounting screws, it balances daylight, glare reduction, and long-term resistance to weather and UV exposure.

How much natural light will this skylight let into my RV?

The inner dome is engineered for high light transmission so interiors stay bright without relying solely on artificial lighting. The smoke outer cap reduces direct glare and softens incoming sunlight, giving you a balanced indoor light level.

• Inner dome light transmittance approximately 88% for ample brightness.
• Smoke outer reduces visible light to about 30%, cutting glare.
• Choice of finishes allows tailoring of brightness and privacy.

Will this skylight protect my RV and belongings from sun damage?

The RVGUARD bundle includes materials and coatings designed to prevent UV passage, helping preserve fabrics, cabinetry, and interior finishes. Blocking ultraviolet rays helps reduce fading and slow heat gain from sunlight without implying medical benefits.

• Constructed to block UV transmission for added material protection.
• Smoke outer reduces heat buildup compared with clear tops.
• Polycarbonate and ABS resist weathering and maintain performance outdoors.

Is installation difficult and will it fit my RV?

This kit is built to be a direct replacement for standard 14"x22" roof openings, simplifying swap-outs on many RVs and campers. It ships with mounting screws so you can complete the install with common hand tools and a basic level of DIY experience.

• Universal fit for conventional 14"x22" roof cutouts.
• Includes screws for a screw-on installation method.
• Lightweight ABS and polycarbonate materials reduce handling strain during fitment.

How durable is the RVGUARD skylight in rough conditions?

Made from impact-resistant polycarbonate and robust ABS plastic, this skylight is designed to stand up to wind, road vibration, and typical outdoor exposures. Its construction aims for long service life and fewer replacements compared with lower-grade alternatives.

• Polycarbonate outer resists impacts from debris and small hail.
• ABS inner dome provides structural stability and tensile strength.
• Materials chosen for weather resistance and dimensional stability.

Who is this for: RVGUARD’s skylight bundle is suited to RV and camper owners looking to brighten their living space while cutting glare and UV exposure. It’s a practical choice for DIYers replacing a standard 14"x22" dome, people upgrading an older, yellowed skylight, and anyone who wants a tougher, lower-maintenance roof vent cover that blends daylight control with weather resistance.
