RVGUARD 18" x 26" white polycarbonate skylight replacement provides durable, UV-blocking light transmission and comes with all screws for a straightforward swap into standard RV roof openings.

Replace a worn or damaged RV skylight with a ready-to-install unit designed for wide compatibility and long life. This RVGUARD skylight measures 18" x 26" x 4" outer dimensions and fits the common 14" x 22" roof opening found on many RVs. Constructed from tough polycarbonate and finished in a white tone that transmits roughly 40% of incoming light, it balances interior brightness with reduced glare. The package includes M4*25 screws so you can complete most replacements quickly without hunting for fasteners.

Will this skylight fit my RV's roof opening?

This model is built for universal compatibility: the outer frame is 18" x 26" x 4" while the cutout it covers is intended for standard 14" x 22" roof openings. Verify your roof aperture before ordering to ensure a proper fit.

• Outer dimensions: 18" x 26" x 4" for the frame.
• Designed to cover standard 14" x 22" openings.
• Includes M4*25 screws to match common mounting patterns.
• Works as a direct replacement for many factory skylights.

How bright is the white skylight and how does it affect interior comfort?

The white variant transmits about 40% of daylight, creating soft, diffused illumination that reduces harsh shadows and glare. This makes the interior feel brighter without excessive heat or direct sun beams, improving visual comfort for daytime activities.

• ~40% light transmission for balanced daylighting.
• Diffused light reduces glare on screens and surfaces.
• Helps maintain a comfortable interior atmosphere during daylight hours.
• Available in other color options if you need more or less light.

Is the skylight durable and protected from sun damage?

Constructed from premium polycarbonate, this skylight resists impact and weathering better than many acrylic alternatives. It’s treated to block 100% of UV rays, which helps protect interior fabrics and trims while limiting material degradation over time.

• High-strength polycarbonate resists hail and impacts.
• UV-blocking layer yields 0% UV transmission to interior.
• Weather-resistant finish advertised for up to 10 years anti-aging performance.
• Avoid acid-based adhesives to preserve long-term durability.

How hard is installation and what tools or parts are included?

Installation is kept simple by using the included M4*25 screws and the universal frame size; basic hand tools and sealant are typically all that’s required. If you’re replacing an existing skylight, most mounts align with factory screw patterns, reducing the need for drilling or modification.

• M4*25 screws included to streamline the swap.
• Fits common factory screw locations for many RVs.
• Requires standard hand tools and exterior-grade sealant.
• Do not use acid-based adhesives which may harm the polycarbonate.

Who is this for: RVGUARD's 18" x 26" white skylight is aimed at RV owners, vanlifers, and motorhome refurbishers who need a durable, UV-protective replacement that balances light and privacy. It suits do-it-yourself installers replacing worn domes, fleet maintenance teams standardizing parts, and anyone upgrading to a longer-lasting polycarbonate lens. Measure your roof opening first and choose this model if you require a universal fit with included hardware and a moderate light transmission for daytime comfort.
