Scepter 1 Gal Gas Can – Red compact spill‑reducing fuel container with SmartControl spout and spout extender

The Scepter 1 Gal Gas Can is a compact, spill-reducing fuel container with a SmartControl spout, integrated venting, and safety features for precise refueling of small equipment.

This lightweight, one-gallon fuel can is built to make topping off lawn tools, motorcycles, ATVs and small engines faster, cleaner, and safer. Constructed from five-layer high-density polyethylene, it resists dents and corrosion while minimizing vapor escape. The SmartControl spout lets you vary flow by squeeze pressure, and the included funnel and spout extender make filling awkward tanks simple.

How does the SmartControl spout prevent spills?

The SmartControl design gives you direct squeeze-to-flow control so fuel only moves when you want it to. That lets you meter a slow trickle for small openings or a stronger stream for faster fills, cutting mess and waste.

• Squeeze-adjustable flow for precise pouring
• Built-in air vent for steady, faster fills
• Dust cap protects the spout between uses
• Bonus funnel stores on the can for convenience

What safety features are included with this gas can?

The container meets EPA and CARB guidelines and includes a child safety lock to reduce accidental access. A flame mitigation device limits risks from internal ignition, while the durable HDPE body prevents cracking and leaks during normal handling.

• Child safety lock for secure storage
• Flame mitigation device to reduce internal ignition hazards
• Five-layer HDPE limits vapor leakage and improves longevity
• Corrosion- and dent-resistant construction

Will this gas can speed up refueling tasks?

Yes — the integrated vent in the spout plus the included funnel and spout extender make flow fast and controlled. You can refill small tanks quickly without air locking or repeated stops, saving time during yard work or maintenance.

• Integrated air vent allows continuous flow
• Spout extender reaches recessed or awkward fuel inlets
• Funnel stored on ring for immediate use
• One-gallon size reduces weight for quicker handling

How durable and leak-resistant is the can?

Made from heavy-duty, multi-layer HDPE, this can resists punctures, denting, and environmental wear better than single-wall designs. The layered construction also helps preserve fuel by controlling vapor transmission, and the secure cap assembly helps prevent drips.

• Five-layer high-density polyethylene body
• Secure cap and dust cover to prevent drips and contamination
• Robust design suitable for outdoor storage when used properly
• Lightweight but impact-resistant for field use

Who is this for: The Scepter 1 Gal Gas Can fits homeowners, landscapers, and recreational vehicle owners who need a portable, dependable container for small refueling jobs. It's ideal when you want controlled pours without the bulk of larger jerry cans — handy for lawnmowers, chainsaws, ATVs, motorcycles, and other gasoline-powered equipment.
