Shimeyao 6-Pack Refrigeration Filter Driers 1/4x1/4 9in Copper with Charging Valve and Molecular Sieve

Shimeyao 6 Pcs Refrigeration Filter Dryer with Charging Valve 1/4x1/4 is a copper filter-drier pack designed to remove moisture and impurities from refrigeration and air-conditioning lines, supplied as six 9" units for service and replacement.

This six-piece set of copper filter driers from Shimeyao provides a practical maintenance solution for refrigeration and A/C systems that accept 1/4" x 1/4" service connections. Each unit combines a molecular sieve drying core with a compact 9" body and charging valve to help trap contaminants and reduce the risk of acid formation. The pack is intended for technicians and DIYers who need multiple replacements or spares for small-bore lines and systems that match the size and refrigerant compatibility listed below.

How does this filter drier protect my refrigeration system?

The molecular sieve inside each Shimeyao filter drier captures moisture and particulates that can corrode valves, clog capillary tubes, or degrade lubricant. Removing these contaminants lowers the chance of performance loss and extends component life without altering system design.

• Adsorbs water and captures solid particles with a molecular-sieve core
• Prevents acid formation by removing moisture that reacts with refrigerant oil
• Protects expansion devices and compressors from clogging and wear

Which refrigerants and system sizes are compatible with these 1/4"x1/4" units?

Shimeyao lists broad refrigerant compatibility for systems matching the fitting size and flow characteristics. These 1/4" x 1/4" driers are intended for small-bore service lines and appropriate for many common refrigerants used in residential and light-commercial equipment.

• Compatible with R12, R22, R502, R134a, and R407C as stated by the manufacturer
• Designed for systems that accept 1/4" x 1/4" connections and similar flow rates
• Check OEM specifications and system service manuals before installation

How easy is installation and what are the physical specs?

Installation is straightforward for experienced technicians: solder or braze the copper connections following standard service practices, using the included charging valve for service access. The physical dimensions and construction are simple to verify on site.

• Copper construction with a total length of 9" and a 4" body section for compact placement
• 1/4" x 1/4" connection size fits small service lines; includes charging valve for service operations
• Sold as a pack of six identical filter driers to supply multiple systems or spares

What should I watch for before buying or installing?

Confirm the line size, refrigerant type, and required flow capacity for your system; incorrect sizing can restrict flow or fail to protect components properly. Always follow safe brazing practices and leak-check procedures after installation.

• Verify system compatibility with 1/4" fittings and listed refrigerants before purchase
• Allow small measurement tolerances; color may vary slightly from photos
• Use standard service precautions: evacuate, purge, braze, and leak-check per best practices

Who is this for: This Shimeyao six-pack is aimed at HVAC technicians, service shops, and experienced homeowners who maintain small refrigeration or air conditioning lines and need multiple spare filter driers. If your system accepts 1/4" x 1/4" filter driers and uses the listed refrigerants, this pack supplies a cost-effective set of durable copper replacement units for ongoing maintenance and emergency swaps.
