sixcow Tow Bar Cover for Blue Ox Tow Bars 27" x 8" — Waterproof Vinyl, Soft Lining & Velcro

sixcow BX8875 is a heavy-duty, vinyl-coated tow bar cover sized 27" × 8" that protects compatible Blue Ox tow bars from weather, dirt, and scratches while stored or in transit.

The sixcow BX8875 tow bar cover is engineered to match a range of Blue Ox models—Avail, Ascent, Apollo, Aladdin, Aventa LX, Aventa II, Aventa I, Alpha, Alpha 2, Alexus, Karbar, and NSA—providing a form-fitting shield for a neat, low-maintenance towing setup. Built from reinforced, waterproof fabric with a soft inner lining and venting, it aims to keep your tow bar clean, dry, and scratch-free without adding bulk or complexity.

Will this cover fit my 27" × 8" Blue Ox tow bar?

Yes. The BX8875 is produced to match the 27" × 8" profile used by several Blue Ox tow bars and replaces part number BX8875. The tailored shape and Velcro closure create a snug, stable fit so the cover stays put during storage or travel.

• Compatible models listed in the product title (Avail, Ascent, Apollo, etc.).
• Designed for 27" × 8" tow bars—check your bar measurements before purchase.
• Velcro fastening secures the bottom opening for a tight fit.

How does the material protect the tow bar from the elements?

The outer layer is vinyl-coated fabric with reinforced stitching for waterproof performance and UV resistance, blocking rain, snow, and dust. Inside, a soft felt lining cushions the metal surface to prevent scuffs and help maintain the tow bar’s finish.

• Waterproof vinyl coating repels moisture and resists cracking.
• UV-resistant surface reduces sun damage over time.
• Soft inner felt prevents abrasion and preserves paint or powder coat.

Will moisture or rust build up inside the cover?

The BX8875 includes eight evaporation vents along the bottom to encourage airflow and reduce trapped humidity, which helps slow corrosion. Properly securing the cover and parking in a ventilated area further reduces moisture-related issues.

• Eight bottom vents allow air circulation to minimize condensation.
• Breathable design helps prevent mildew and corrosion over time.
• Rinseable fabric makes cleaning quick after muddy or salty trips.

How easy is it to install, remove, and maintain?

Installation is a quick slip-on with a Velcro fastener—no tools required—so you can cover the tow bar in seconds and secure it against wind. For maintenance, hose it off and let it air-dry; reinforced seams and durable fabric are made for repeated use.

• Slip-on design with Velcro for fast, tool-free application.
• Reinforced stitching endures regular handling and travel wear.
• Simple cleaning: rinse with water and air-dry, no special cleaners.
