SPTA Microfibre Car Wash Mitts 5-Pack — Small 6.5"x5.5" Plush 70/30 Split-Fiber, Ultra-Absorbent & Scratch-Safe

This compact set of five SPTA mitts brings professional-level microfiber technology to everyday detailing. Each mitt measures 6.5" x 5.5", combining a dense, long-fiber pile on one side and a softer lining on the other to trap dirt while protecting paint, chrome, and wheel finishes. The mitts are machine-washable, feature a secure wrist cuff and thumb hook design for better control, and work with any soap, bucket, foam gun, or foam cannon.

How does this mitt protect paint and finishes during washing?

The mitt uses a 70/30 split-blend microfiber with long, fine fibers that pick up and lock away grit instead of dragging it across surfaces. That reduces swirl marks and minimizes the chance of surface scratches when compared with traditional sponges or brushes.

• Double-sided construction: long-pile fibers trap debris, soft inner lining cushions the hand
• High fiber density so particles sink into the mitt rather than abrade paint
• Works with lubricating soap to keep contaminants suspended and away from clearcoat

How much soap and water can each mitt hold for efficient washing?

Each mitt features hundreds of thousands of split microfibers per square inch, giving it exceptional absorption and lather capacity. The fabric can hold several times its weight in water and suds, letting you spread richer foam across panels and small areas for smoother cleaning.

• High absorbency retains more soap and water for longer contact time
• Richer lather improves lubrication and reduces friction on surfaces
• Less frequent rinsing required during a detail session, speeding up the process

Will these mitts fit comfortably and stay secure on my hand?

The mitts are sized for small-area work but include a large elastic wrist cuff and a thumb hook to keep the glove snug during use. The secure fit improves control in tight spaces, letting you focus on precision areas like wheel spokes, emblems, and seams without the mitt slipping off.

• Generous wrist cuff for a snug, non-slip fit on most hands
• Thumb hook design stabilizes the mitt for cleaning around rings and hubs
• Soft inner lining reduces hand fatigue during longer detailing tasks

How do I care for these mitts to keep them effective and durable?

Maintenance is simple: machine wash on a gentle cycle with mild detergent and low heat drying. The mitts are built with two secured inner layers that stand up to repeated scrubbing and washing so they stay soft and effective for many detail sessions.

• Machine washable — use gentle cycle and low heat to protect fibers
• Air-dry or tumble on low; avoid fabric softeners which reduce microfiber performance
• Compact, lightweight design stores easily in a trunk or detailing kit

Who is this for? Detailers, car enthusiasts, and everyday drivers who want a compact, safe, and highly absorbent microfiber solution for wheels, crevices, and small panels will appreciate these SPTA mitts. They’re also handy for motorcycles, bicycles, trailers, and any situation that needs careful, scratch-minimizing cleaning in confined areas.
