STAR BRITE Ultimate Carpet Cleaner With PTEF — Foaming, Ready-to-Use Stain & UV Protection

STAR BRITE Ultimate Carpet Clean with PTEF is a ready-to-use carpet cleaner that lifts oil, grease, fish blood and dirt while adding stain- and UV-repelling protection.

Designed for tough marine and automotive environments but safe for indoor use, this foaming cleaner penetrates carpet fibers, breaks down soils and neutralizes foul odors. Its polymer barrier leaves a protective finish that helps resist future stains and sun damage, making it ideal for boats, RVs, cars, and household carpets. The formula is simple to apply: spray, allow brief dwell time, agitate or blot, rinse (or wipe) and let dry before foot traffic.

How do I use STAR BRITE Ultimate Carpet Clean for spot stains?

For targeted spots, spray the cleaner directly on the stain and let it soak in for 1–3 minutes so the foam can loosen the contaminant. Gently rub or blot with a clean, damp cloth or sponge until the stain lifts; repeat if necessary for stubborn marks.

• Spray evenly over the stain; avoid oversaturation.
• Allow 1–3 minutes penetration for most soils.
• Blot or gently rub using a damp cloth or sponge.
• Repeat application and allow longer dwell for persistent stains.

Can I use this cleaner on large carpeted areas or outdoor boat carpet?

Yes — for broad surfaces spray the product evenly and let it work into the fibers. On outdoor boat carpets, lightly scrub with a deck brush and rinse thoroughly; for indoor carpets, rub with a towel to lift dirt and assist drying before walking on the area.

• Apply in overlapping passes for uniform coverage.
• Use a deck brush and rinse for exterior marine carpet.
• For interiors, agitate gently and blot to speed drying.
• Ensure carpet is completely dry before resuming use.

What kinds of stains and odors will it remove?

The formulation targets oily soils, grease, fish blood, food messes and general grime while also reducing unpleasant odors. Its foaming action helps lift soils to be rinsed or blotted away, restoring appearance without harsh abrasion.

• Effective on oil-based and organic stains like fish blood.
• Foam lifts dirt for easy removal with a sponge or rinse.
• Deodorizing ingredients reduce lingering smells.
• Polymers leave a stain-resistant finish to slow re-soiling.

Will this damage my carpet and how does the PTEF protection work?

STAR BRITE Ultimate Carpet Clean is formulated to clean without harming most carpet fibers when used as directed. After cleaning, polymers containing PTEF bond to the pile and create a repellant layer that helps block future stains and reduces UV-related fading without altering texture when applied sparingly.

• Safe for most marine, automotive and residential carpets.
• Polymers form a protective coating on treated fibers.
• Helps resist new stains and UV deterioration over time.
• Follow directions and test an inconspicuous area first.
