StaunchAuto Engine & Cabin Air Filter Combo — Fits Chevrolet Equinox/Terrain 2018–2026 1.5L, Reinforced Engine & Dual-Layer Carbon

StaunchAuto’s Engine & Cabin Air Filter Combo replaces your Equinox/Terrain engine filter (CA12260) and cabin filter (CF11966), restoring engine breathing and cabin air quality in 2018–2026 1.5L and specified 2.0L models.

If you own a Chevrolet Equinox or GMC Terrain from the listed years and want dependable filtration without frequent trips to the dealer, this matched pair delivers two practical upgrades: a reinforced engine filter that protects critical components and a dual-layer cabin filter that reduces odors and fine particles. Both are designed to fit factory housings and offer longer life and quieter operation than standard replacements.

What vehicles and engines does this kit fit?

This combo is made for Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain models across the highlighted model years and engine sizes. It covers 1.5L Equinox/Terrain for 2018–2026 and certain 2.0L model years listed for Equinox and Terrain.

• Engine air filter replacement reference: CA12260.
• Cabin air filter replacement reference: CF11966.
• Compatible: Equinox 2018–2026 1.5L; Terrain 2018–2026 1.5L; Equinox 2018–2020 2.0L; Terrain 2018–2021 2.0L.

How do these filters improve engine performance and longevity?

The engine filter uses premium filter paper and an ABS frame to keep dust and abrasive particles out of the intake system, reducing wear and maintaining airflow. Its construction extends usable life compared with economy filters, helping preserve engine efficiency between changes.

• Multi-layer media captures fine dust and larger debris before reaching the engine.
• Rigid ABS frame maintains seal and shape under underhood temperatures.
• Lower pressure drop keeps airflow steady for consistent performance.

Will the cabin filter make the interior air noticeably better?

Yes—the cabin filter combines a particle-trapping layer with coconut-shell activated carbon to adsorb odors and gaseous contaminants. The double-layer design removes pollen, dust, and many unpleasant smells, contributing to a fresher cabin environment.

• Activated carbon reduces odors and some volatile compounds.
• High-efficiency particle filtration removes airborne allergens and dust.
• Designed for low resistance to preserve HVAC airflow and reduce noise.

How often should I replace these filters and what savings can I expect?

StaunchAuto recommends replacing the filters every six months or about every 12,000 miles, depending on driving conditions. Regular replacement prevents debris buildup, helps maintain HVAC performance, and can avoid costly engine work caused by contaminated intake air.

• Suggested interval: 6 months or 12,000 miles (adjust for heavy dust or city driving).
• Preventative maintenance reduces risk of engine and HVAC repair costs.
• Cost-effective compared with OEM dealer replace-at-service pricing.

Who is this for? This filter combo is aimed at owners of Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain vehicles in the compatible model years who want a reliable, longer-lasting replacement set that restores factory fit and improves both engine protection and cabin comfort. It’s particularly useful for drivers in urban or seasonal climates where dust, pollen, and odors affect daily driving comfort and vehicle longevity.
