Technicians Choice Ceramic Detail Spray 1 Gallon — Hydrophobic Protection & Deep Gloss

TEC582 Ceramic Detail Spray is a ready-to-use ceramic-enhanced topper that quickly adds durable hydrophobic protection and deep gloss to all exterior surfaces.

TEC582 from Technicians Choice is a one-gallon professional detail spray designed to boost shine, repel water, and make routine maintenance simpler. Formulated to work on paint, glass, trim, chrome, and wheels, it layers a slick, water-beading finish without requiring specialized tools or long cure times. Ideal for shop use or dedicated enthusiasts, this spray helps preserve appearance between full coatings.

How does TEC582 improve appearance and water beading?

TEC582 deposits a thin, ceramic-enriched film that enhances reflectivity and creates a hydrophobic surface. Water and road grime run off more easily, which reduces spotting and makes hand-washing faster. The result is a visibly deeper gloss and a silky feel to the finish.

• Rapid flash-off formula leaves a smooth, streak-free shine.
• Ceramic polymers promote stronger water beading than conventional sprays.
• Enhances color depth for fresh or previously coated paint.

Can I use this detail spray on every exterior surface?

Yes—TEC582 is formulated for multi-surface use, so you can apply it to painted panels, glass, plastic trim, chrome accents, and wheels. It safely bonds to common automotive substrates and restores a uniform level of repellency across the vehicle. Always test on an inconspicuous area if unsure about a specialty finish.

• Safe for clear coats, single-stage paint, and factory surfaces.
• No adverse effects on anodized or painted trim when used as directed.
• Works on glass to improve rain beading and visibility.

How do I apply TEC582 for best results?

Spray lightly onto a clean, cool surface and wipe with a fresh microfiber towel to spread and buff the film. One towel is typically sufficient for small panels; flip or switch towels for larger areas to avoid streaking. No curing oven or lengthy wait times are required—finish can be enjoyed immediately.

• Work in shaded areas and on cool panels for even results.
• Use a quality microfiber towel to minimize marring and improve gloss.
• Apply after washing or between regular maintenance sessions.

How long should the protective effect last?

Longevity depends on environmental exposure and maintenance habits. Under normal conditions with periodic washing, the added hydrophobic layer extends protection for weeks, acting as a sacrificial topcoat that eases cleaning. Reapply as part of routine detailing to maintain optimal repellency and shine.

• Resists light contaminants and improves dirt release during washes.
• Supports existing ceramic coatings as a maintenance topper.
• Frequency of reapplication varies by climate and driving conditions.

Who is this product for? TEC582 Ceramic Detail Spray is targeted at professional detailers, automotive shops, and enthusiasts who want quick, reliable hydrophobic protection and enhanced gloss without the time or cost of a full ceramic coating. It’s ideal for fleet managers and daily drivers seeking easier maintenance and a consistently presentable finish between deeper services.
