Texflic Tailgate Insert Letters for Chevy Silverado 2019–2025 — Matte Black American Flag, ABS Adhesive-Backed

If you want to refresh your Silverado's rear look without drilling, these molded insert letters are built to match the factory tailgate recesses for 2019–2025 models. Constructed from durable ABS plastic and finished in matte black with an American flag motif, they slide into the existing letter cavities and secure with a strong adhesive backing. Installation is fast, reversible, and keeps the original tailgate structure intact.

Will these letters fit my Chevy Silverado tailgate?

They are specifically sized for Silverado tailgates dated 2019 through 2025 and are not compatible with earlier or other-year tailgates. Each piece is molded to the OEM recess dimensions to ensure a snug, gap-free fit when inserted correctly. Confirm your truck year before purchasing to avoid misfit issues.

• Fits Chevy Silverado model years: 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025
• Designed for factory letter recesses—no drilling required
• Not compatible with Silverado years outside the 2019–2025 range

How durable is the material and finish outdoors?

These inserts are made from robust ABS plastic, chosen for strong abrasion and weather resistance. The construction resists common outdoor stresses—rain, road grime, and sunlight—so the emblems retain shape and finish over time. Chemical and fade resistance help maintain the black American flag look through regular use and washes.

• High-quality ABS for impact and abrasion resistance
• Weather- and chemical-resistant finish to prevent fading
• Maintains shape and appearance through car washes and exposure

How do I install the tailgate insert letters correctly?

Installation takes only a few minutes and requires no special tools—clean, peel, stick, and press. For best adhesion in cooler temperatures, warm the adhesive backing with a heat gun or hair dryer before applying. Allow pressure for a short time after placement to ensure full contact.

• Clean and dry the letter recesses before applying
• Warm adhesive backing if necessary, peel protective liner, then press into place
• Hold or press each letter briefly to secure bond; full adhesion develops over time

What kind of adhesive holds the letters in place, and is removal possible?

The inserts include a strong, full-surface adhesive layer that prevents lifting during wet weather and while going through automatic washes. While designed for long-term attachment, the adhesive can be removed with heat and careful prying if you decide to revert to the stock appearance. Use heat to soften the glue and a plastic trim tool to reduce the risk of surface damage.

• Full-surface premium adhesive for secure, even bonding
• Warm with heat gun to improve initial bond and ease later removal
• Use plastic tools and heat for safer removal without drilling

Ideal for DIYers who prefer a quick, reversible upgrade that resists weather and washing, these inserts are for anyone keeping their truck’s original tailgate intact while adding distinct aftermarket flair.
