The Rag Company 1500 is an ultra-dense, heavy-duty 30" x 30" microfiber drying towel built to remove water fast from trucks, RVs, boats and large vehicles without scratching paint.

Engineered for professionals and enthusiasts who need a single towel that handles big surfaces, the 1500 combines a high 1500 GSM density with a 70/30 premium microfiber blend and a twist-loop weave. Its large 30" x 30" dimensions and durable construction make it suited to repeated use on commercial vehicles, fleet trucks, recreational vehicles, and marine finishes where fast, streak-free drying matters.

How does the 1500 speed up drying on large vehicles?

The towel's very high GSM and looped pile capture and hold large volumes of water so you make fewer passes and dry faster. The twist-loop weave increases surface contact and lifts water from panel crevices without applying harsh pressure.

  • 1500 GSM density for superior water retention
  • Generous 30" x 30" size reduces time spent switching towels
  • Twist-loop pile improves water pickup across textured surfaces
  • 70/30 microfiber blend balances softness and strength

Will this towel be safe for paint, clear coat and delicate finishes?

Yes — the 70/30 premium blend and plush twist-loop surface are designed to be gentle while still highly absorbent. The construction minimizes drag and traps grit inside the pile rather than dragging particles across paintwork.

  • Soft looped microfiber reduces abrasion risk
  • Thick pile holds contaminants away from the surface
  • Large size lets you fold for a clean drying face
  • Suitable for clear coat, OEM paint and polished surfaces

How durable is the 1500 for repeat professional use?

Built for heavy-duty work, this towel withstands repeated laundering and the demands of fleet or commercial detailing. Stitching and fabric density are selected to maintain loft and absorbency even after many wash cycles.

  • Robust twist-loop weave resists matting
  • High-density fibers retain absorbency over time
  • Constructed to handle large, frequent drying jobs
  • Easy to launder following microfiber care guidelines

How should I use and care for the 1500 to maximize performance?

Use the towel unfolded for big panels and fold into sections for clean faces as necessary. Wash with mild detergent, avoid fabric softeners and high-heat drying to preserve fiber structure and absorbency.

  • Dry large areas unfolded, fold for finishing passes
  • Wash cold or warm with microfiber-safe detergent
  • Skip bleach and fabric softener; tumble dry low or air dry
  • Replace when pile shows permanent matting or reduced absorbency

Who is this for: Detailers, fleet managers, RV owners, boaters and anyone who dries large vehicles regularly and wants a single towel that combines maximum absorbency, gentle contact and long-term durability. The Rag Company 1500 is aimed at people who need a professional-grade drying tool that saves time on big jobs and stands up to heavy use.

FAQ

Q: Is the 1500 safe on ceramic-coated paint?

A: Yes, its soft twist-loop fibers are safe for ceramic coatings when used gently and kept free of trapped grit.

Q: How many times can I wash this towel before replacing?

A: With proper microfiber care it lasts many washes; replace when the pile permanently mats or absorbency drops.
