Turnirace 2-Step Hitch Step for 2" Receiver — Foldable Dual-Step, 300 lb Capacity, Anti-Slip

Turnirace 2-Step Hitch Step for 2 in Receiver is a heavy-duty, foldable two-step hitch that gives pets and people safe, low-impact access to trucks and SUVs while doubling as a hitch bumper guard.

Made to fit any standard 2" receiver, this dual-step hitch combines adjustable height, compact storage, and durable construction to make climbing into beds and cargo areas easier for seniors, large dogs, and anyone who prefers a lower step. The design prioritizes stability and weather resistance so it stays useful on road trips, at the campground, or around town.

How does the Turnirace step improve vehicle access?

The two-step layout reduces vertical reach and provides a secure platform for ascending into truck beds and SUVs. Wider step plates and high-traction surfaces remove wobble and slipping, making each ascent steadier than a single-step solution.

• Dual-stair geometry lowers each step height for easier climbing
• 12" x 6" textured step plates offer large, slip-resistant footing
• Rated to 300 lbs to accommodate people and large pets
• Acts as a bumper guard while remaining a convenient step

Will this fit my vehicle’s 2-inch hitch receiver?

Yes — the Turnirace step is engineered specifically for standard 2" hitch receivers and includes multiple depth and height settings for a snug, rattle-free installation. Adjustment options make it compatible with most pickups, SUVs, and campers.

• Precision-fit shank for 2" receivers prevents wobble
• Four-level height and depth adjustments for proper alignment
• Secure locking mechanism keeps the step in place when driving
• No permanent modifications required, bolts and pins included

How portable and durable is the foldable design?

The step folds up against the hitch with a swivel lock so it stays compact during travel and takes seconds to deploy when needed. A matte powder coat and high-tensile steel construction make it resistant to rust and road wear.

• Swivel-fold mechanism locks in travel position for compact storage
• Matte powder-coat finish resists corrosion from rain and road salt
• High-tensile steel frame supports frequent use and rough conditions
• Simple, tool-friendly operation for quick install and removal

Is the Turnirace hitch step safe for pets and older adults?

Designed with larger step surfaces and a non-slip texture, this two-step hitch minimizes strain and provides stable footing for both animals and humans. The broad plates and 300 lb capacity help ensure confident, low-impact climbs for seniors and heavier dogs.

• Extra-wide step plates reduce missteps for pets and people
• Non-slip tread improves grip in wet or muddy conditions
• 300 lb rated to support heavier users safely
• Stable dual-step layout reduces joint stress compared with tall single steps

Who this is for: Turnirace’s 2-Step Hitch Step is ideal for pet owners with large or senior dogs, drivers who frequently access truck beds or roof racks, and anyone who wants a durable, road-ready step that doubles as hitch protection. If you need a compact, adjustable, and weather-proof solution to make loading, unloading, and climbing easier, this hitch step suits campers, contractors, outdoor enthusiasts, and families alike.
