UIABOPZ Tailgate Ladder for Pickup Truck — Adjustable 34"–42" Heavy-Duty Step, Non-Slip Wide Pedal, 350 lb Capacity

UIABOPZ Tailgate Ladder is an adjustable, heavy-duty pickup truck step that folds flat against the tailgate and supports up to 350 lb for safe, easy bed access.

Designed for most full-size and heavy-duty pickups, this universal tailgate step adjusts between 34" and 42" to match common bed-to-ground heights and mounts quickly to either side of the tailgate. Constructed from powder-coated metal with non-slip aluminum treads, the ladder resists corrosion and stores compactly without tools, so you can reach your cargo, tie-downs, or roof racks with less strain.

How does the ladder attach and how long does installation take?

Mounting the UIABOPZ ladder is straightforward: the kit includes four types of mounting screws and hardware so you can pick the fasteners that match your tailgate. Typical installs take under 30 minutes with an electric drill and basic hand tools, and the ladder can be positioned on the driver or passenger side.

• Includes multiple screw types for different tailgate materials
• Fits tailgate widths ≥50" and bed-to-ground heights ≤42"
• Install time: usually under 30 minutes
• Mounts on either side of the tailgate

Will this ladder fit my truck and support heavy loads?

The ladder is height-adjustable from 34" to 42", so it covers most pickup bed heights from compact to heavy-duty models. Built from reinforced metal and finished with an anti-rust powder coat, it carries a safe working load up to 350 lb without bending or warping.

• Height range: 34"–42" adjustable
• Designed for many Ford, GMC, Dodge Ram, Chevrolet models
• 350-lb rated capacity with reinforced construction
• Powder-coat finish for corrosion resistance

How does it store on the tailgate and prevent noise while driving?

After use the ladder folds upward and straps securely to the tailgate, staying compact and out of the way so you don’t need to remove it for hauling. Anti-rattle pads and two securing straps keep the ladder stable and quiet on the tailgate during travel.

• Folds up and straps to tailgate—no disassembly required
• Anti-rattle pads reduce clatter and wear during transport
• Saves bed space compared with removable step systems
• Quick release for when you need the step again

What footing and safety features does the step provide?

Wide aluminum steps with a textured, anti-slip surface give secure footing in wet or muddy conditions and reduce pressure on knees when climbing. The ladder’s wide pedal and sturdy frame are intended to improve stability for seniors, frequent loaders, and tradespeople who repeatedly access the bed.

• Non-slip aluminum treads for reliable grip
• Wide pedal design for balanced footing
• Reinforced joints minimize wobble under load
• Supports safer entry and exit compared to makeshift steps

Who is this for: The UIABOPZ Tailgate Ladder is aimed at pickup owners who want a durable, user-friendly step for routine bed access—contractors, outdoor enthusiasts, homeowners, and drivers who value a permanent, compact solution that stays attached to the tailgate. If your truck’s bed-to-ground height falls within 34"–42" and your tailgate width is at least 50", this ladder provides a robust, low-maintenance way to reach your cargo without relying on temporary stools or help from others.
