Valterra holding tank treatment 68 oz self-measuring bottle — formaldehyde-free, odour control & fast waste breakdown

Valterra Odorlos V77003 is a 68 oz, self-measuring holding-tank treatment that uses beneficial bacteria and nitrate fuel to stop tank odors without formaldehyde.

Designed for RVs, boats and septic systems, this concentrated formula feeds naturally occurring microbes an alternative energy source—nitrates—so they do not resort to sulfate-driven processes that produce foul smells. The result is reduced odor, faster waste breakdown and a non-toxic, formaldehyde-free solution that works across temperature extremes.

How does this treatment actually reduce holding tank odor?

Instead of masking smells, the Valterra Odorlos formula shifts bacterial metabolism by supplying nitrates. Beneficial bacteria then use that cleaner energy source, which reduces the foul sulfur compounds usually responsible for strong tank odor.

• Supplies nitrates to naturally occurring bacteria for cleaner energy use
• Limits sulfate consumption that leads to rotten-egg smells
• Promotes an odor-free microbial environment rather than covering up scents

Will it work in cold or hot weather and different holding systems?

The product is formulated to be effective across a wide temperature range and is safe for RV, marine and septic holding tanks. It maintains performance where some biological treatments slow down due to temperature fluctuations.

• Maintains activity in extreme temperatures
• Compatible with RV and marine holding tanks, plus septic systems
• Non-toxic and safe for standard holding tank materials

How does the self-measuring bottle make dosing easier?

The 68 oz container includes a built-in measuring system so you can pour the correct amount every time without extra tools. That helps prevent overdosing or waste and keeps treatment consistent between uses.

• Bottle design includes clear measurement markings for accurate dosing
• Reduces the need for separate measuring cups or guesswork
• Large capacity supplies multiple treatments for extended use

Can this treatment help prevent clogs and improve waste breakdown?

Yes. By accelerating the biological breakdown of tissue and organic waste, the formula helps reduce buildup that can cause blockages. Regular use supports smoother flushing and fewer maintenance issues.

• Speeds breakdown of tissue and organic solids
• Helps reduce the chance of clogs and slow-draining tanks
• Supports routine system performance and easier tank emptying

Who is this for: Valterra Odorlos V77003 is ideal for RV owners, boaters and homeowners with septic holding systems who want a reliable, non-toxic alternative to formaldehyde-based treatments. Choose it if you need an easy-to-dose, long-lasting solution that targets the biological cause of tank odors and helps prevent clogs without harsh chemicals.
