Venum Kontact Elbow Protector - Black, One Size | Lightweight Breathable Elbow Guard with Reinforced Shell

The Venum Kontact Elbow Protector is a lightweight, slip-on elbow guard designed to protect training partners and reduce impact risk during elbow strikes in MMA, Muay Thai, and other combat sports.

These Kontact elbow protectors combine breathable elasticated cotton with a reinforced outer shell and an adjustable hook-and-loop strap so you can train confidently without sacrificing mobility. Built for repeated use, they wick moisture, resist abrasion, and are simple to clean—making them a practical addition to any fight kit for sparring and technique work.

How well does this elbow protector prevent injury during sparring?

The Kontact elbow protector cushions the point of contact to lower the chance of cuts or bruises on training partners and helps distribute force across the elbow area. It’s intended to reduce acute impact while allowing realistic technique practice rather than eliminating all force.

• Reinforced synthetic exterior disperses strike energy for fewer focal hits.
• Padded interior softens contact without overly changing strike mechanics.
• Secure strap prevents slipping so protection stays in place through rounds.

Will it stay comfortable during long sessions?

Comfort is a priority: the elasticated cotton lining breathes and wicks sweat to keep the skin drier through extended drills. The slip-on design and adjustable closure let you fine-tune the fit to avoid chafing or pressure points while keeping full arm movement.

• Breathable fabric reduces heat build-up and moisture retention.
• Ergonomic shape follows the elbow joint for natural mobility.
• Machine-washable materials simplify post-training care.

How durable is the construction for frequent training?

The outer layer uses tough synthetic materials specifically chosen to withstand friction and repetitive contact against gloves and pads. With routine care, these protectors are built to resist tearing and surface wear across many sessions.

• Abrasion-resistant exterior extends usable life under regular sparring.
• Reinforced stitching and closure reduce failure points during dynamic movement.
• Easy-to-clean textiles preserve material integrity over time.

Which martial arts and training scenarios are they best suited for?

These elbow protectors are versatile and suitable for MMA, Muay Thai, Thai boxing, and other striking arts that incorporate elbow techniques. They work well for partner drills, light contact sparring, and controlled clinch training where reducing partner injury is important.

• Ideal for partner-safe elbow strike practice in Muay Thai and MMA.
• Useful during clinch work to protect both practitioner and partner.
• Good for gyms that need reusable, easy-care sparring gear.

Who is this for? The Venum Kontact Elbow Protector is for fighters and coaches who want to practice realistic elbow techniques with reduced risk to training partners, and for athletes who need a durable, low-maintenance guard that preserves mobility. It fits most users in one size, offering a balance of protection, breathability, and longevity for both beginners and experienced fighters who value practical sparring equipment.
