VEVOR 36" Underbody Truck Tool Box — 36x14x16 Aluminium Diamond Plate, Waterproof Lockable

VEVOR's 36" underbody truck box is a lockable, waterproof aluminum tool storage designed to mount beneath trucks, trailers, campers, or racks to keep tools and gear organized and protected.

Purpose-built for under-vehicle storage, this VEVOR toolbox combines rust‑resistant aluminum diamond plate construction with a recessed T‑handle lock and a rubber sealing strip to block water and road debris. At 36 x 14 x 16 inches, it adds low-profile capacity for maintenance tools, straps, camping equipment, and supplies while keeping weight moderate and installation straightforward. The textured tread surface resists dents and abrasions from road use.

How secure and weatherproof is this underbody box?

The box uses marine‑style features to limit water intrusion and deter theft without bulky external hardware. A continuous rubber seal compresses at the lid line to shed rain and spray, while the embedded T‑handle locks flush to the box face to reduce snagging and provide key access.

• Rubber sealing strip along the lid for water resistance
• Recessed T‑handle latch with included keys for locking
• Aluminum alloy resists rust, preserving lock function and structure

Will this box withstand road wear and outdoor exposure?

Constructed from thickened aluminum diamond plate, the box balances durability with corrosion resistance so it tolerates salt, mud, and vibration better than standard steel options. The tread pattern adds surface strength and helps hide cosmetic scratches from routine use.

• Aluminum alloy panels for corrosion resistance
• Diamond tread surface reduces visible wear
• Reinforced edges and panel thickness for impact resilience

How easy is installation and what vehicle fits this size?

The 36" x 14" x 16" footprint fits many trucks, trailers, and camper underbody locations but you should measure clearance and mounting space before buying. VEVOR supplies multiple size options and the box can be mounted with purchased brackets or custom DIY hardware; electrical power should be disconnected when drilling into vehicle frames.

• 36 x 14 x 16 inches — measure your underbody space first
• Compatible with trucks, trailers, vans, camper racks, and frames
• Mount using brackets or custom fasteners; recommended bolt pattern depends on vehicle

What can I realistically store and organize inside?

The interior volume accommodates hand tools, hardware bags, jumper cables, small power tools, tie‑downs, and camping supplies. Because the lid sits flush and locks, you can store items that benefit from dry, out‑of‑sight placement without worrying about road spray or casual tampering.

• Hand tools, tool boxes, and maintenance supplies
• Tie‑downs, straps, spare fluids in sealed containers
• Compact camping gear, hoses, or electrical cords

Choose this model if you want a rust‑resistant aluminum solution with a low profile and keyed locking, and verify underbody clearance and mounting options before purchase.
