VEVOR Underbody Truck Tool Box 18x12x14 in Black – Heavy-Duty Galvanized Steel, Weatherproof Lockable Storage

A heavy-duty, weatherproof underbody tool box from VEVOR that fits under trucks and trailers to securely store tools and gear while resisting rust and theft.

Built for tradespeople and weekend haulers, this 18 x 12 x 14 inch VEVOR underbody chest blends a low-profile footprint with rugged construction. Galvanized steel and a protective powder coating reduce corrosion, while a full-perimeter rubber gasket and welded seams help keep moisture and dirt out. A pry-resistant lock and stainless-steel latch provide extra security so your tools stay safe on the road or at a job site.

How durable is the VEVOR underbody tool box for daily jobsite use?

The box uses impact-resistant galvanized steel with a powder-coated finish designed to handle bumps and abrasion from everyday use. Fully welded seams and reinforced edges add structural strength without much extra weight, so it resists deformation and surface wear over time.

• Impact-resistant galvanized steel body
• Powder-coated finish for abrasion and rust resistance
• Fully welded construction prevents seam separation
• Reinforced, wrapped edges protect against dents

Will this toolbox keep tools dry and protected in bad weather?

The unit seals with a continuous rubber gasket around the door to block rain and dust, and the welded body reduces potential leak points. Concealed hinges and a dust cover over the lock further minimize water and debris entry, making it suitable for exposed under‑vehicle mounting.

• Full-perimeter rubber gasket for a tight seal
• Seamlessly welded body to reduce leak risk
• Dust cover over the lock core to block grit
• Concealed hinges to limit moisture ingress

How secure and convenient is the locking and access design?

The toolbox includes a pry-resistant lock and a 304 stainless-steel latch to resist forced entry while standing up to corrosion. A recessed T-handle prevents accidental snags, and an internal cable keeps the lid from opening too far, making access safer and more controlled.

• Pry-resistant lock with spare keys included
• Durable 304 stainless-steel latch for longevity
• Recessed T-handle for snag-free access
• Galvanized steel cable to prevent over-opening

Where can I mount this underbody chest and will it fit my vehicle?

The compact 18 x 12 x 14 inch dimensions are sized to mount under trucks, trailers, vans, gooseneck areas, or on jobsite carts without extending past the vehicle body. Its low profile prevents ground contact and overhang, and the design suits many platforms where a sturdy, weatherproof storage solution is needed.

• Fits under pickup trucks and trailer bodies
• Suitable for vans, gooseneck hitch areas, and SUVs
• Compact profile avoids ground contact and overhang
• Mounting-friendly shape for diverse vehicle types
