VIVOHOME Refrigerant Scale 220 lb HVAC Digital Portable – High-Precision, Backlit LCD

VIVOHOME's 220 lbs High Precision Electronic Refrigerant Scale is a portable digital HVAC scale that measures refrigerant and cylinder weight accurately for charging, recovery, and maintenance tasks.

This compact, battery-powered scale combines high-precision sensors with an anti-slip platform and a backlit LCD so HVAC technicians can reliably weigh refrigerant cylinders in the field or the shop. Designed for convenience and accuracy, it supports multiple units (kg, lbs, oz) and stores the last reading if power is lost, reducing rework on multi-stage jobs.

How accurate is the VIVOHOME refrigerant scale for HVAC work?

The scale uses a professional high-precision load cell calibrated to deliver consistent readings up to 220 pounds. It includes an auto-zero function to subtract container weight and a fail-safe indicator for overloads.

• High-precision load cell for consistent measurements.
• Auto-zero button to tare cylinder weight for net refrigerant readings.
• Displays in kg, lbs, oz and combined units for flexibility.
• “FULL” warning when weight exceeds the 220 lb capacity.

What features help technicians use the scale on-site?

The scale is compact and runs on a single 9V battery, making it easy to move between job sites. A textured rubber top and aluminum base reduce slippage while the backlit LCD improves legibility in dim service areas.

• Compact, portable design with included hard carrying case for transport.
• Textured rubber platform and silicone-aluminum construction for stability.
• Large backlit LCD for clear readings in low light.
• Auto-shutoff settings preserve battery life and memory if power is lost.

How does this scale protect readings and prevent data loss?

The unit saves the last measured weight if it auto-shuts off or the battery dies, preventing data loss during long charging operations. It also provides clear on-screen alerts when capacity is exceeded so technicians can take corrective action.

• Memory save of last reading after power interruption.
• Auto-shutoff after inactivity and backlight timeout to conserve battery.
• On-screen "FULL" indicator when load exceeds safe range.
• Durable construction withstands regular field use.

Who is this for? HVAC service technicians, refrigeration installers, and facilities maintenance professionals who need a dependable, portable weighing solution for refrigerant cylinders and pressurized containers will benefit most from this tool. It's also well suited to contractors who value a compact case, simple controls, and clear visual feedback while working in tight or dimly lit environments.
