Volcaner Cargo Cover for 2013-2019 Ford Escape — Carbon-fibre Texture Retractable Privacy Shield

Volcaner Cargo Cover is a retractable carbon-fiber-texture trunk shade designed to fit 2013–2019 Ford Escape models, providing a discreet, durable privacy shield for valuables stored in the cargo area.

This retractable cargo cover replaces the factory shade with an upgraded carbon-fiber textured surface and reinforced ends for easy, tool-free installation. Built from leather and aluminum alloy components, the unit resists tearing and moisture while sliding smoothly into the original trunk slots—no drilling required. It’s shaped to restore a clean factory look while adding a handle for convenient use and a sturdier feel than basic fabric covers.

Will this cover fit my Ford Escape and how do I check compatibility?

This Volcaner cover is specifically made for 2013–2019 Ford Escape models and is not compatible with Ford Edge. Confirm the fit by checking that your Escape has the original factory mounting slots on either side of the cargo area; the cover installs into those same slots.

• Designed for 2013–2019 Ford Escape only (Not for Ford Edge).
• Uses the vehicle’s original trunk slot mounting—no modifications.
• Verify your Escape’s cargo-side slots before purchasing.

How easy is installation and everyday use?

Installation is straightforward: slide the cassette into the factory slots and attach the spring end caps. For smoother assembly, pull the screen slightly before inserting the end caps so they seat properly. Daily use is simple—pull the shade out to cover cargo and hook it into place, then retract when you need full access.

• No drilling or special tools required; fits into factory slots.
• Tip: pull the screen a bit before inserting spring end caps for correct fit.
• Retractable design with a grip handle for quick extend and retract action.

What materials and durability features does this shield offer?

The Volcaner cover combines a leather-like surface with an aluminum-alloy core finished in a carbon-fiber texture, delivering a balance of style and resilience. The materials are selected to resist tearing and to repel light moisture, keeping the shade looking new through regular use.

• Carbon-fiber textured leather surface for a premium look.
• Aluminum alloy components add compressive strength and longevity.
• Water-resistant and tear-resistant construction for everyday durability.

How does this cover improve privacy and cargo organization?

When extended, the cover hides items in the cargo area from outside view, reducing the chance of opportunistic theft and keeping personal items discreet. The retractable mechanism also helps keep the cargo area tidy, creating a flat visual surface and a more organized trunk space.

• Creates a concealed space to shield valuables from view.
• Retractable design keeps items contained and the cargo area neat.
• Compact cassette stores out of the way when not in use.

Who is this for: The Volcaner Cargo Cover is meant for Ford Escape owners from model years 2013 through 2019 who want an easy-to-install, more durable privacy shade with a refined carbon-fiber look. It’s ideal for commuters, families, and anyone who regularly stores gear or valuables in the trunk and prefers a cleaner, factory-compatible finish without modifying their vehicle. Note: do not purchase for Ford Edge applications.
