Votex Short Rubber Antenna for Toyota 4Runner (2010-2017) — 6.75" Low-Profile, Copper Coil & Stainless Threading

A compact 6 3/4" replacement antenna by Votex that fits Toyota 4Runner (2010–2017), resists car washes, and uses an internal copper coil for stronger AM/FM reception.

Replace that tall or damaged factory mast with a low-profile antenna designed to match your truck’s look without surrendering signal quality. Votex engineered this short rubber antenna to combine a sleek exterior and durable materials—EPDM rubber and 304 stainless steel threading—with a high-conductivity copper coil inside. The result is improved resilience against the elements and reception that stays closer to factory performance than many other short replacements.

Will a shorter antenna still get good AM/FM reception?

Shorter antennas often sacrifice some reception, but design and materials make the difference. This Votex model uses an internal copper coil that conducts better than typical aluminum or steel cores, so it pulls in more stations and maintains clearer audio in most driving situations.

• Internal copper coil for higher conductivity and improved signal pickup
• Optimized coil geometry to balance low profile with performance
• Engineered to approach factory reception levels rather than match only appearance

How tough is the Votex antenna in everyday use and car washes?

The antenna’s exterior is molded from EPDM rubber, a material chosen for flexibility and weather resistance. Threading is made from 304 stainless steel crafted in the USA, which resists corrosion and keeps the mount secure even after frequent automatic car washes.

• EPDM rubber resists UV, heat, and aging for long service life
• 304 stainless steel threading prevents rust and withstands repeated installs
• Backed by a 2-year coverage from purchase date for replacement if it breaks

How easy is it to install and will it fit my 4Runner?

Installation is a straightforward screw-on replacement. The antenna is sized specifically for Toyota 4Runner models from 2010 through 2017 and measures 6 3/4" to keep a subtle profile while clearing roof accessories and crossbars.

• Direct screw-on mount matches factory antenna thread pattern
• 6.75-inch length reduces wind noise and improves aesthetics
• No special tools required—installation takes only minutes

What materials and craftsmanship set this version apart?

Votex emphasizes quality manufacturing by combining US-made stainless threading, a conductive copper core, and precision rubber molding. These components are assembled by a family-owned business focused on consistency and durability rather than disposable parts.

• Internal copper coil up to ~85% more conductive than common alternatives
• Proudly manufactured with attention to detail in the USA
• Tested for strength and long-term reliability under everyday conditions

Who is this for: Owners of Toyota 4Runner (2010–2017) who want a sleeker roofline without accepting large drops in radio performance. If your factory mast is bent, missing, or you’re upgrading to a cleaner look while keeping reliable AM/FM reception and daily durability, this Votex antenna offers a practical, easy-to-install solution backed by solid materials and a two-year replacement coverage.
