VViViD Headlight & Taillight Tint Vinyl Wrap 16" x 10ft — Light Smoke, High-Gloss Clarity

VViViD+ Ultimate Headlight Taillight Tint is a premium light smoke vinyl wrap engineered to deliver glossy, high-clarity coverage for headlights and taillights without blocking necessary illumination.

This light smoke film from VViViD+ measures 16 inches by 10 feet and is built for automotive enthusiasts who want a refined smoked look while retaining excellent light transmission and easy installation. The film combines a high-gloss surface, advanced adhesive chemistry, and nano air-release technology so you can achieve a painted appearance that performs on the road. It’s designed for both DIY installers and professional shops who need a flexible, repositionable vinyl that conforms to complex curves and keeps a pristine finish after application.

How does this vinyl preserve headlight brightness while providing a smoked look?

The VViViD+ light smoke formula balances tint with optical clarity, allowing more visible light to pass through than traditional smoke films. That clarity is accomplished through a specially developed clear adhesive and a thinner, uniform tint layer that minimizes light loss while still producing an even smoked appearance.

• Ultra-clear hardened acrylic adhesive reduces light diffusion and protects factory coatings.
• Optimized tint density provides a subtle smoked look without heavy darkening.
• High-gloss face film maintains visual crispness and reflects like paint.

Is installation manageable for a first-time DIYer?

Yes — the VViViD+ film is engineered for easier handling: it stretches, repositions, and conforms more readily than many alternatives. The included protective cap keeps the film clean and smooth while you work, and the nano air-release pattern simplifies a dry installation, reducing trapped bubbles and wrinkles.

• Stretchable vinyl lets you shape the film around curves and edges without tearing.
• Repositionable adhesive gives time to align panels precisely during installation.
• Micro air-release channels allow quick squeegee work and near-bubble-free results.

How durable is the finish and will it look painted after installation?

The film’s ultra-gloss surface and smooth conformability create a finish that closely mimics quality paintwork. Once heat is applied and the micro air channels collapse, the surface levels out to a seamless glossy film that resists blemishes and preserves clarity through everyday use.

• Glossy top layer resists dulling and mirrors painted sheen.
• Protective cap during install prevents scuffs and keeps the film pristine.
• Hardened acrylic adhesive resists lifting and helps maintain adhesion over time.

What vehicle parts and conditions is this wrap best suited for?

While optimized for headlights and taillights, this light smoke wrap can be used on other exterior lighting and trim surfaces where maintaining light transmission matters. It is intended for clean, smooth surfaces and performs best when installed on properly prepped lenses free of deep scratches or heavy oxidation.

• Ideal for headlights, taillights, fog lights, and clear lenses.
• Works on painted or clear-plastic lenses after proper surface prep.
• Not recommended over heavily cracked or severely oxidized lenses without repair first.
