Walex Porta-Pak Holding Tank Deodorizer Drop-Ins - 250 Pack, Formaldehyde-Free Rapid-Dissolve Tablets

Walex Porta-Pak Holding Tank Deodorizer drop-ins are pre-measured, formaldehyde-free tablets that quickly dissolve to neutralize odors and help break down waste and paper in RV and marine tanks.

Designed for campers, boaters and commercial users who want a clean, low-hassle solution for portable toilet maintenance, Porta-Pak replaces messy liquids with single-dose drop-ins. Each tablet dissolves rapidly on contact with tank fluids to deliver deodorizing agents and waste-softening compounds without staining or harmful formaldehyde. The 250-pack provides long-term value for frequent travelers and fleet operations, and the non-staining formula helps preserve tanks and plumbing.

How do these drop-ins control odors so quickly?

Each Porta-Pak tablet is formulated to dissolve fast and release odor-neutralizing compounds directly into the holding tank. Rather than masking smells, the active ingredients target volatile compounds and reduce their scent presence so your bathroom area stays fresher between pump-outs.

• Rapid-dissolve tablet design for immediate action
• Odor-neutralizers that reduce volatile odor molecules
• Non-staining formula keeps tank interior clean-looking
• Single-dose portion control avoids overdosing

Will Porta-Pak harm my RV or boat plumbing systems?

Porta-Pak is formaldehyde-free and formulated to be safe for standard RV and marine holding tanks and plumbing. The product avoids aggressive chemicals that can damage seals or create residues, and its non-staining color helps prevent visual build-up inside tanks.

• No formaldehyde—safer for plumbing and the environment
• Non-acidic formulation compatible with common tank materials
• Dissolves cleanly to minimize residue on seals and walls
• Suitable for both RV and marine waste systems

How easy is it to use Porta-Pak during travel?

Using Porta-Pak is as simple as dropping a tablet into the holding tank—no measuring, pouring or mixing required. The single-dose approach reduces spills and odors during handling, which is helpful when you’re setting up camp or returning from a day on the water.

• Pre-measured drop-ins eliminate dosing guesswork
• Compact tablets are easy to store and carry
• No rinsing or special preparation needed before use
• Convenient for one-off use or routine maintenance

How long will one 250-pack last for my needs?

The longevity of a 250-pack depends on tank size and usage frequency: light-use weekends will consume fewer tablets, while daily or heavy-season use will require more frequent replacements. For families that use an RV or boat several days a week, a 250-count supply covers many weeks to months of maintenance without reordering.

• Small tanks with infrequent use: many weeks per pack
• Regular weekend use: several weeks to months
• High-frequency or commercial use: plan for faster turnover
• Bulk 250-pack reduces cost per use for frequent travelers

Who is this for: Walex Porta-Pak is intended for RV owners, boaters, fleet operators and anyone who uses portable or cassette toilets and wants a straightforward, formaldehyde-free way to manage odors and help break down waste and paper. It’s especially handy for people who prefer single-dose convenience, avoid liquid chemicals, or need a dependable bulk supply for extended trips or frequent use.
