WARN EVO 8/10/12 Remote Module - 2‑in‑1 Sealed Remote & Paired Wireless Module, Direct Replacement for 104218

The WARN 109470 Remote Module is a sealed 2‑in‑1 replacement control that works corded or wireless with WARN EVO 8, 10, and 12 winches.

If your WARN EVO series winch needs a fresh remote or the original control module is discontinued, the 109470 kit supplies a paired wireless module and a dual‑mode remote. Built as a sealed unit, it’s intended to restore full remote operation for EVO 8, 10, and 12 models and replaces the older part number 104218.

How does this remote connect to my WARN EVO winch?

The 109470 operates in two ways: you can plug it directly into the winch for a corded connection, or use the included paired wireless module for cordless control. The wireless module arrives pre-paired to the remote, so setup is typically plug‑and‑play for supported WARN EVO winches.

• Works in corded plug‑in mode for simple wired control
• Switches to wireless operation using the supplied paired module
• Pre‑paired module reduces setup time
• Designed for WARN EVO 8, 10, and 12 models

Is this a true replacement for the discontinued 104218?

Yes — the 109470 is offered as the successor to part number 104218. Physically and functionally it replaces the discontinued unit, providing the same remote control functionality with an updated sealed design.

• Direct replacement for WARN part 104218
• Updated sealed housing for improved durability
• Includes both remote and wireless control module
• Compatible specifically with WARN EVO 8/10/12 winches

What should I know about compatibility and programming?

The 109470 is paired to its wireless module before shipping and is not designed to be reprogrammed to an older module. Confirm your winch is an EVO 8, 10, or 12; this remote is not intended for non‑EVO WARN models or earlier control modules.

• Not programmable to older modules—uses the included paired module
• Compatible only with WARN EVO 8, 10, and 12 winches
• Verify your winch model before ordering to avoid mismatches
• Sealed design helps protect electronics from dust and moisture

What are the practical benefits of the sealed 2‑in‑1 design?

The sealed housing reduces exposure to dirt, water, and debris, extending the life of the control. The dual wired/wireless flexibility means you can use a secure corded connection in close quarters or the convenience of wireless operation when you need distance and mobility.

• Sealing protects internal electronics from the elements
• Wired option provides a backup if wireless is not preferred
• Wireless mode gives freedom of movement during winching tasks
• Compact kit includes everything needed for replacement

Who is this for: The WARN 109470 Remote Module kit is aimed at owners and service technicians who operate WARN EVO 8, 10, or 12 winches and need a direct replacement for an old or damaged remote. It’s suited to off‑road enthusiasts, utility operators, fleet maintenance crews, and anyone who wants a reliable, weather‑resistant control with both corded and cordless options. Confirm your winch model before purchase to ensure compatibility.
