WORKPRO 2-Piece 27" Long-Reach Hose Clamp Pliers Set — Flexible Shaft & Ratchet Lock

WORKPRO's 2-piece 27" long-reach flexible hose clamp pliers set lets you access and secure wire spring and flat-band clamps in tight engine bays and confined spaces. These pliers are built for mechanics and DIYers who need reach, control and durability when working with coolant, fuel and vacuum lines. Each tool uses a 27-inch flexible shaft and specially formed jaws to bite and hold common spring clamps and flat-band hose clips, while the ratchet-style locking mechanism supports one-handed operation so you can reposition clamps without holding pressure. Heat-treated carbon steel construction and PVC-coated grips deliver the strength and comfort required for repeated automotive and workshop jobs.

How do these pliers reach clamps tucked behind engine components?

The 27-inch flexible shaft bends into position so you can route the jaws around obstacles, dip past brackets, and approach clamps from awkward angles. The flexible wire core keeps its shape while you work, letting the jaws travel where rigid tools cannot.

• 27-inch flexible hose routes around obstructions
• Thin-profile jaws slide between hoses and brackets
• Wire core holds bends for steady access

Will the jaws hold spring and flat-band clamps securely?

Yes — the pliers' jaws are shaped to engage both round spring-type clips and flat-band clamps. Once clamped, the ratchet-style locking mechanism keeps the clamp compressed so you can reposition or remove the hose without losing grip.

• Special jaw geometry fits multiple clamp types
• Ratchet lock maintains steady squeeze hands-free
• One-handed release for quick clamp removal or installation

Are these tools rugged enough for frequent automotive use?

WORKPRO constructs the pliers from heat-treated, forged carbon steel with a blackened finish for improved toughness and corrosion resistance. The durable build stands up to repetitive tension and the demands of workshop environments without premature wear.

• Forged, heat-treated carbon steel for strength
• Blackened finish reduces rust and surface wear
• Designed for high-intensity tasks like radiator or fuel-line work

How comfortable and easy to use are the handles during long jobs?

The ergonomically shaped PVC non-slip handles reduce hand fatigue and improve grip control, especially when working in greasy, oily conditions. The comfortable handles combined with the locking function make extended or two-stage jobs less tiring.

• PVC-coated grips for secure hold and reduced slippage
• Ergonomic shape lowers hand strain during repeated use
• Locking ratchet lets you rest the hand between adjustments

Who this is for: If you repair cars, maintain small engines, or perform HVAC and industrial hose servicing, this WORKPRO two-piece set is tailored to tasks that require reach and precision. It's a practical upgrade for home mechanics who struggle with tight engine bays, professional technicians who need dependable long-reach pliers, and anyone replacing fuel, oil, or coolant hoses where standard pliers can't reach. The set covers most circular and flat band clamps, making it a versatile addition to an automotive or maintenance tool kit.

FAQ

Q: Can these pliers handle both spring and flat-band hose clamps?

A: Yes. The jaw shape and 27" reach work for most spring-type and flat-band clamps used on automotive and industrial hoses.

Q: Is the locking mechanism reliable for one-handed operation?

A: Yes. The ratchet-style lock holds clamps securely so you can reposition or remove hoses using only one hand.
