The XENIVO Automotive Circuit Fault Probe is a plug-in inline fuse current tester that finds parasitic battery drains and measures 0.01–20A in real time while preserving factory fuse protection.
If your vehicle’s battery keeps dying or accessories behave erratically, tracking the problematic circuit can be frustrating. The XENIVO probe inserts into a fuse slot and reads actual current flow without removing the battery, making it faster and more reliable than juggling multimeter leads. It’s compatible with both mini and standard blade fuses and includes overcurrent detection to protect circuits during diagnostics.
Instead of testing broad system points, the probe shows current draw on each individual fuse circuit, so you can isolate the exact circuit responsible for a parasitic drain. You scan fuse by fuse and watch the live reading change as devices turn on or off.
The probe removes much of the difficulty multimeter setups introduce, such as unstable probe contacts and interrupted circuits. With a secure inline connection, readings stay steady and reflect actual conditions under load, so you get trustworthy data during troubleshooting.
The XENIVO probe preserves the vehicle’s factory fuse protection because the fuse remains in place and carries current through the tester. Built-in overcurrent detection alerts you if a circuit exceeds safe limits so you can stop testing before causing damage.
Start with the vehicle key off and accessories closed, then plug the probe into each fuse slot while monitoring the display. Note any readings above your normal parasitic baseline and trace that circuit’s components until you find the source.
Who is this for: The XENIVO Automotive Circuit Fault Probe is designed for DIY mechanics, professional technicians, and fleet managers who need a faster, safer way to locate parasitic battery drains and verify circuit loads. It’s useful for routine electrical troubleshooting, post-repair checks, and any situation where you need clear, real-time ampere readings at the fuse level without altering factory protection.
Q: Does the probe work without disconnecting the battery?
A: Yes. It measures current inline through the fuse while the battery stays connected, so you can test under normal conditions.
Q: Which fuse types are supported?
A: The unit supports both mini and standard blade fuses commonly found in modern vehicles.
