How does this knob fit my car’s shifter?

The YIUIY knob is built for broad compatibility: it threads onto standard shifter studs and includes three adapter sizes to cover most fitments. No cutting or reworking of the shifter is required when your vehicle has a removable factory knob.

• Included adapters: M8×1.25, M10×1.25, M10×1.5
• Knob thread size: M12×1.25; outer diameter: 5.4 cm (2.13")
• Works with many 5-speed and 6-speed manual and automatic cars with removable knobs
• Not compatible with shifters that require pressing a button or locking mechanism to reverse

What materials and finish should I expect?

This shift knob combines a solid aluminum alloy insert with a durable acrylic outer shell finished in a purple marble pattern. The acrylic resists fading and delivers a smooth grip, while the metal core provides weight for a satisfying shifting feel.

• Aluminum alloy core for stability and weight
• High-quality acrylic exterior with marble-style pattern
• Fade-resistant finish designed for long-term use
• Polished surface for comfortable shifting and a premium look

How easy is installation and what should I check first?

Installation is straightforward and usually requires no tools beyond the provided adapters and a secure threaded connection. Before replacing, confirm your stock knob is removable and identify the thread on your shifter to choose the correct adapter.

• Direct replacement—no modifications in most cases
• Confirm shifter is removable and free of locking buttons or safety detents
• Select the matching adapter and thread the knob on securely
• Hand-tighten then secure per vehicle manufacturer guidance

Will this change how shifting feels while driving?

The added mass from the aluminum core and the smooth acrylic surface change the tactile experience toward a firmer, more weighted shift. It can make gear changes feel more deliberate without altering mechanical operation of the transmission.

• Weighted center provides a more positive shift feel
• Smooth spherical shape encourages comfortable hand placement
• No effect on transmission operation—cosmetic and ergonomic upgrade only
