Built from weather-resistant materials and engineered for heat and impact resistance, these covers defend the hitch cavity from moisture, dirt, and road debris.

How do these covers fit my 2020–2024 GMC or Chevrolet truck?

The covers are molded to match the factory mounting recesses used on 2020–2024 GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500HD and Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD/3500HD crew cab 4-door models. They use the same geometry as the OE parts, making installation fast and alignment-friendly. Verify compatibility by checking your vehicle’s OE part numbers MTG84756187 or MTG84756188 before ordering.

• Direct fit for GMC Sierra and Chevy Silverado 2500/3500HD crew cab models (2020–2024)
• One center cover plus four outer-hole covers per kit
• Compatible with OE numbers MTG84756187 and MTG84756188

What protection and durability do these hitch covers provide?

YzusGomumu engineered these covers from weather-resistant materials with precise tolerances to withstand repeated exposure to road salt, rain, and UV. The robust construction resists cracking under load or thermal cycling, while a waterproof seal keeps moisture and grit out of the hitch cavity. This reduces corrosion risk and helps the hitch components stay clean and ready for safe use.

• Weather-resistant material resists UV, salt, and rain
• Heat- and impact-friendly design reduces fracture risk
• Waterproof construction keeps debris and moisture out

How simple is installation and maintenance?

Installation is plug-and-play: press each cover into its corresponding hole until it seats evenly. The simple structure means you can swap individual pieces quickly if one becomes damaged, minimizing downtime. Periodic cleaning with mild soap and water keeps seals effective and extends service life.

• Tool-free installation—snaps into place
• Easy individual replacements to reduce service time
• Low maintenance: rinse and inspect seals periodically

Will these covers affect towing performance or clearance?

The covers are designed to be flush with the platform surface and do not alter towing geometry, clearance, or the hitch’s rated performance. They are purely protective components for the mounting holes and are removed when you mount a fifth-wheel hitch. Because they maintain factory dimensions, they won’t interfere with normal hitch operation.

• Flush fit maintains factory dimensions and clearance
• Removed easily when installing a hitch head or adapter
• Protects mounting holes without changing towing specs

Who is this for: This YzusGomumu 5-piece platform hitch cover set is ideal for owners of 2020–2024 GMC Sierra or Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD/3500HD crew cab pickups who want a direct-fit, low-maintenance solution to protect their 5th-wheel mounting openings. It’s a practical choice for truck owners who regularly tow, park outdoors, or operate in harsh-weather environments and want to reduce corrosion and keep the hitch area clean. Always check OE part numbers MTG84756187 and MTG84756188 for exact fitment before purchasing.
