What is involved in installation — can I do it myself?

Installation is designed to be plug-and-play for users comfortable with basic interior trim removal. You unplug the old switch, connect the 13-pin terminal, and seat the new unit into the driver door panel without special tools.

• Unclip door panel trim around the switch area to access the original unit.
• Disconnect the factory 13-pin connector and remove the old switch.
• Insert the connector into the ZAPOSTS switch and snap the new unit into place.
• Reinstall trim and test all window and mirror functions before finishing.

What are the build quality and controls like?

• ABS construction for a solid, durable housing and smooth button action.
• Ergonomic button layout matching OEM positions for windows and mirrors.
