What to look for: towing mirrors that fit your door-mirror shape and are E-marked; ramps rated above your caravan’s axle weight; hitch locks that fit your coupling head (Al-Ko, Winterhoff and so on); and anything electrical that runs from 12 V with a proper fuse. UK law requires extension mirrors when the caravan is wider than the car’s rear track.
